Lovely meal. I think this restaurant sometimes gets overlooked for the bigger restaurant next door, but it is well worth it. Light, freshly cooked dishes, good service and reasonably priced.Had both sit down and takeaway and would recommend.

Had a lovely meal to celebrate Hogmanay with the Hubby The food was very good. And the service was amazing. Loved the Roast duck served with special honey sauce in a sizzling dish. Will be back again in 2022. Happy New Year.??

We an amazing meal at Sabai last night! We often get takeaway as we have young children but the babysitter was booked for a concert we couldn't make and we thought we'd make the most of a child free evening. The starters were lovely. We had Goong Yang (chargrilled prawns with Thai spicy seafood sauce) and Poo Nim Gratium (deep fried soft shell crabs with garlic and pepper). Both were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. The main courses were the show stealers. Pla Choo Chee (crispy Seabass fillet cooked in creamy red curry sauce) & Sabai Steak (10oz chargrilled sirloin topped with a creamy blend of red curry and green peppercorn sauce on a sizzling platter). Wow! Just wow! The Seabass was amazing. Nice and crispy and the flavour of the red curry was immense. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and the chargrill gave is a beautiful flavour. The red curry sauce and peppercorn sauce came on the side so you could pick and choose with every mouthful. We accompanied our dishes with Som Tam (Thai spicy papaya salad) which is one of my all time favourites. We had some noodles too. We had no room for desserts or coffees. The waiter was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Ordered a takeaway meal Starter - Tiger Prawns in batter with sweet chilli sauce - prawns barely cooked, batter soggy and sweet chilli watery with little taste, - 4 prawns for £7.95 seems expensive !! Main - Stir Fry Chicken with vegetables in soy sauce - chicken was thinly sliced, looked like skin and was greasy and rubbery, vegetables barely acceptable. Food was basically inedible and ending up feeding to the dog. Expensive and poor - will vote with my feet and not be back.

Came here in August and the food was incredible. Restaurant itself is very clean, tidy and modern. Waiting staff were all knowledgeable and polite. The massaman curry was delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re a fan of Thai food, will be back.

Food was absolutely DELICIOUS! We had the combo platter to start so we could try a few different starters, then had crispy chicken in Thai sweet & sour sauce, Panang chicken curry - flavours were incredible, and duck in garlic & chilli (I think), sticky rice and noodles. We would definitely go back if we are ever back in the area.
