My favourite cake shop on the island - and best coffee. Friendly service and a very cool vibe - my go to cafe on Millport.

Visited today and what can I say as I gave 5* for everything. Great coffee and fantastic cakes. Defiantly worth a coffee and cake if in Millport and the service was excellent.

Brewbaker is a wonderful coffee/tea and bakery in the main street of Millport, looking out on the bay. Amazing coffee, and the bakery goods are in a word, excellent. Additionally they have hand-made chocolates. Funky atmosphere, like you're right in the middle of the making of the delicious things on offer. Don't miss it if you're in Millport!

Wonderful atmosphere created by the lovely owner. Delicious cake and coffee and good old natter. She even gave us a lift up to the viewpoint. Thank you for a fabulous cafe moment. Highly recommended.

We fell in love with this place. You always know you are in a good place when you see the locals patronising it. We were so surprised at the diversity of the food offerings, out of the ordinary for the usual Scottish bakery/cafe. We took refuge from the rain, had lovely cups of tea and various cakes. Absolutely perfect.

This is definitely a must, if you are in Millport you have to go here. The choices of cakes, chocolates and quiches are hard to make as you want them all. If you can have a coffee and a delicious cake inside, a lovely friendly atmosphere. Service and owner is very friendly, the high quality of food is consistent, I have been stay in Millport for a few weeks and visited here many times.

Very friendly, attentive owner. Lovely cup of coffee. Best on the island. Been twice now and the service and quality is consistently high.

Stopped in for some lunch when cycling around the island and glad we did. The coffee was great with a rich roast but the coffee was knocked into third place by the banana and honeycomb muffin in second place and the quiche in first place. The muffin was moist and I only wish I bought one to take home with me. The quiche had a delicious crust, buttery and baked perfectly, this was enhanced by the sharpness of the cheese and sweetness on the tomato, rounding it off with perfectly set egg. The service was excellent, friendly and offering to fill our water bottles was a nice touch. The next time I’m in Millport I’ll definitely be calling in again and earlier in the day.

It was a lovely day for a walk around Cumbrae & by the time we had reached Millport we were very ready for a coffee & some cake. Brewbaker was the first place we saw & the cakes in the window were very tempting. We couldn't sit inside due to COVID restrictions (glad to see how careful they were being) but there was a handy bench overlooking the harbour just across the road. I had an apple & plum muffin & a mince pie while my wife had the chocolate brownie. All scored top marks! The coffee was great too. But what really, really stood out was the customer service. It was helpful, friendly & quick. So we were upset to realise we hadn't been charged for everything we'd bought & went back to pay for the missing item. But the lovely lady behind the counter refused to take the money, saying it was 'her mistake'. My wife insisted but we got nowhere. Rest assured that Brewbaker is going to be our first choice for a cafe stop next time we are on Cumbrae.
