After riding this long route to the point it was great to be met with such fabulous cafe facilities and great food and coffee. A gem.

If you are in the area you will already have decided to come here to see the lighthouse and you won't be disappointed. The whole experience including the lighthouse tour is ? great.Best to visit when the weather is nice if you can.

Great stop off after a very long bike ride up from Glasgow. Great cup of coffee and a chocolate muffin at the end of this long road. Very welcoming and good food. Oh the views aren’t bad either.

A fantastic place to visit, and importantly, community owned. The 160+ steps to the top of the lighthouse are well worth it, and the refreshments in the cafe were wonderful. Unfortunately some of the exhibition was closed due to refurbishment, but that did not detract from the visit at all, hopefully we'll be able to come back when it's all open again!

It was our 5th visit in 7 years and this was the only time it rained but still a great place. Saw otters and mountain goats. Well worth the trip. And you can go up the lighthouse if you are fit enough to do so

This place is a community run cafe at the lighthouse and given its remoteness, its limited to what it can serve and we think some of the reviews forget this. The staff are friendly and the cakes are good, the filled rolls looked inviting although we did not try them. Its a good place for a coffee and the lighthouse is definately worth a visit.

Amazing location, great choice of books and gifts and a Chocolate-Pecan-Walnut Slice to die for. The café is cozy and warm with its heavy stone walls, and the hot chocolate went down a treat as we visited on a rather windy and foggy day. We felt very welcome by both the human and the canine staff. Thank you for keeping this wonderful place open!
