I'm always happy when there's an opportunity to pop into this great cafe. The staff are lovely and the food and surroundings are great. Lots of care taken over sourcing and thoughtful menu options. The toast with potato scone, black pudding and poached egg is a perfect brunch option.

Coffee was fine, cake ok too. Most of the staff were very lovely but one was particularly rude and had she been serving us we would not have stayed. Also not that geared up for kids, we weren't offered a highchair for example. Wouldn't rush back.

Incredible. Food is outstanding and the menu has all allergies clearly marked on all dishes. Plenty of choice, even for my lactose and gluten intolerance. Dog friendly. Excellent coffee.Dietary restrictions: Everything on the menu is clearly marked for allergies. Lots of options for vegan and gluten free.

Coffee was tasty, but personally for me, just not hot enough.. Coleslaw, salad was tasty, a little disappointed with the bread, one slice was a little hard, like it had been left out for a while and £2.50 for those few bits of Chirizo was in my opinion a little steep for how much you got.. Great atmosphere though and a lovely place..

I’ve been coming here for years but since the pandemic only been once and didn’t enjoy it. So when passing today we decided to drop back in. I was so glad we did. The food was back to what it used to be. The soup is lentil and the sandwiches are back. The cake is also amazing as were the scones. The place was busy and still Nicky decorated. They have put the layout back to what it was too.Since I went I have also passed in for take out and that was fab. Sandwiches in a box with salad a coleslaw and the cake in individual boxes. I should of asked for a fork if I’d know of the extras in the box

…and just the right amount for an oldie couple like us! We both had the BLAT. Completely fabulous, service great, atmosphere cool. The busyness says a lot about the quality.

Looks lovely, great cake and savoury selection on display and happy to provide a take away coffee.

First rate scones…only comparable to Cranberry’s in Glasgow. Fresh 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday! Well done. Nice cakes, wonderful atmosphere after a long hill walk.

Has a wide range of breakfast and small dishes. Vegetarian & vegan options are marked on the menu - awesome! The outside area is nice and quiet.

Found both dishes we had to be slightly too dry. Not a big issue for myself but my partner found her toastie to be slightly too well done making it a bit brittle which she finds difficult to eat.The cakes we bought were beautiful in flavour but again slightly dry.I would definitely recommend HSCS for a breakfast or lunch.

Living just a few miles away from this place we have passed it many times either going somewhere or coming back from somewhere and always meant to try it out Well, at long last we have got round to visiting it and can’t praise it enough. Wonderful atmosphere, lovely friendly people and great very reasonably priced food…most definitely will now become a regular spot for us to visit.

Fabulous breakfast. Brilliant with dietary needs and the Gruffalo event looks greatKid-friendliness: Kids loved theirs. Think the kids meal is suitable for under 10s

Milkshakes were huge but a bit on the sweet side. We all had pancakes. The servings are big but yummy ?

Popped into Heaven Scent yesterday for a coffee and a scone. The coffee was hot and strong and the scone was warm and fresh with plenty of fruit inside. The delicious jam was homemade and the clotted cream was tasty. The atmosphere is convivial and the prices are reasonable. I left a happy customer. I shall return.
