My wife and I went Saturday past, and we knew it was busy. There was a wait to get into the table but that was only 15 minutes. We had to wait for over an hour from sitting down to receiving our food. The stovies were tasty. The chowder was ok.What was frustrating was that we had to ask three times to get water to the table.I'd suggest coming here when it's less busy.

I went with my partner today and it is a beautiful place. The cafe and shop look very nice. However was really disappointed with the Stovies - there was literally almost zero venison and all potato! Lovely fresh produce but a shame - I would have happily paid extra for a better portion of venison mince. Really hope it improves as love to go again.

It has been a while since I have been here, my sister-in-law and I went this Sunday the menu wasn't great, and neither was the actual food when it finally arrived, we had soup, and as no one took our plates away, which must trigger the mains coming waited almost an hour for our mains when we pointed out we had been forgotten we had them within 10 minutes, the chicken in the burger was very dry they just seem so busy and under pressure since my last visit. I won't be rushing back soon.

They have a wonderful selection of local and own-label products, as well as beautifully designed homeware. The on-site deli and restaurant were equally impressive, serving up delicious treats.

Braitifil location on the Lich Leven, nice view. We enjoyed the great time and sunny weather with friends, coffee, ice cream. Busy place on a Saturday afternoon, big shop, nice stuff and delicious farm food. Recommended!!!

Arrived around 11.45 on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning. Found a seat outside as it stated that there was table service at the table we were at. Three servers were all standing idle at the doors to the restaurant indoors, never brought us a menu (I had to get one myself off their table while they were talking), took an age to notice us (it wasn't particularly busy), stated that they couldn't offer us a brunch (finished at half 11), and could only offer us soup as they couldn't take orders for lunch until 12 (it was 11.54)?! When they brough the food out (which was really nice), they came without bringing cutlery, asked if we wanted anything else, we said cutlery please, and we were told to go and get it ourselves! Unbelieveable. Really disappointing. If you're going to offer table service, at least offer it correctly. Servers were a bit daft, hadn't been trained either by the looks of things.

It was lovely to sit outside, look at the view and enjoy the peace and quiet.Getting the coffee from the wee cabin was slow. There was only one girl on duty and she was cooking the fresh pancakes and sorting the coffee. But overall worth the wait.

Excellent place to visit - playground/walks/views are fantastic. Stuart and his team provide excellent food and service, Alan has recently joined the team and is a great host. Always enjoy our visits and the shop has some special items that are really enticing See you again soon

Stopped here (again) while out and about on my motorcycle and during a cycle too. I enjoy this place so much so I keep coming back anytime I find myself going north...Vegan/Vegetarian options are delicious! The views are great and this is also a great starting point for your 14 miles loop on foot or bicycle around the loch and then come back to a well deserved meal! Will visit again, obviously ?

It's a great place to stop!Beautiful location, lovely setting for the cafe, and great food. We only had drinks and cakes. But the menu read so well and I really wanted to stay for lunch too.Very friendly service from everyone.Picked up scotch eggs from the fab deli to feed the boys on the bike ride.Highly recommend ??

I visit here regularly as it is local, the food is generally lovely and the shop is nice. Coffee and cakes are nice. A bit disappointed that the menu has changed as we always ordered the French toast with bacon which isn't on offer anymore. There is an Eggy Bread option but not with bacon and maple. Will be back but probably for cake and coffee going forward. Scenery and location are top notch.

We've been going to the Larder since May this year and this was our third visit. The menu is limited and for what you get, it is expensive, but we enjoy the food and the staff are lovely. On this occasion, the weather wasn't great and we were seated by an automatic door, which opened whenever anyone passed and it was a bit parky. Managed to change our table without much hassle. We like to have a nosey round the shop, but it's all way out of our price range!

Met a friend here for breakfast and sadly I would be wary of going back anytime soon. Lovely shop, but the cafe leaves a lot to be desired at present. Quite overpriced for what it is and we found it most bizarre that only fried or scrambled eggs were available, not poached - didn’t much fancy fried egg for eggs Benedict or eggs royale! Having taken a look at the lunch menu also, it was also fairly limited and rather pretentious looking. This place has so much potential, but the menu and standard of presentation of the food is not what it once was. If this is resolved, it would be great.
