Very noisy!Yes, it was a Saturday night and the pub was very busy with a footlball team celebrating loudly, to be expected but still not great.But the bathroom taps sound like a plane is flying over and that comes from neighbouring rooms too.When the main door is opened, our bedroom door would make a sudden bang which adds to the anxiety of trying to sleep at The Square.No shampoo or shower gell in the shower, easy to get caught out with that if you're used to staying in other hotels!Albeit, it's the kind of place that you want to like, and I'm sure on a weekday, it'd be fine - but it's not a place for light sleepers unfortunately.

This is such a nicely located pub. Only dined here for a Xmas dinner, the staff and service are lovely, but the food needs improved. The quality is just not there. Such an opportunity to produce amazing pub grub but Chef skills need vastly improved.

I have been a regular for a few months Food was brilliant and reasonably priced but after today I can't say I'll be going back. Poor service and even worse food, extremely disappointed.Food & drinks: Beans were ice cold, bacon was undercooked and staff didn't seem to care. Service was unreasonably slow given how quiet it was.
