I've been coming in to D'Nisi for my espresso fix every day, sometimes twice, and I've got to admit I love their espresso! It is definitely the best in Kirkie, and believe me, I've tried them all. The staff are fantastic, especially Lara, Joe, and Justyna (not sure I've spelt the correct. They are a credit to the company and always make me feel welcome.I haven't had the pleasure of trying any of their food, but what I've seen served looks delicious.All round this is a fantastic coffee shop, 5*!

Went to Dinisi for a coffee this morning, and decided to also order pancakes with butter & jam. We were charged £21 for 2 flat white coffees and 2 portions of pancakes!!!!. I queried the cost of the pancakes, as I thought I had been overcharged, but it turns out that they charge £6.95 for a portion of pancakes, which consists of 2 basic pancakes!!!! It's a total rip off, and I don't know how they can justify charging these prices. Needless to say, I will not be going back!!!

we have been going here for many years. the food is excellent and it's a nice relaxing cafe. however, on this occasion when asked if could have our tea brought to the table with our food order, were advised it was company policy that you had to take your drinks at the counter. so option is cold stewed tea with hot food or cold food standing back in the queue to order the tea when the food arrives. what a ridiculous policy. we won't be back

Great wee place, prices are pretty low, always got people in it. Me and my friend went in for lunch, and you could semll the soup from outside ?The only thing that put me off was the cashier. It's a small place and pretty quiet. Don't get why she was shouting our order at the top of her lungs when we were standing in front of her. Did this with all customers.

I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and the non vegetarian breakfast arrived after around 20mins. The girl that served the breakfast was unapologetic and the girl that took the order told me I didn't order the vegetarian option. Very loud and confrontational conversation. Very unpleasant experience. No apology given. Also I know I was correct. I took the menu and pointed to what I was ordering as well as saying what I wanted. It's unfortunate as I know the food here is highly recommended but the service on this particular Sunday was awful. An acceptance of their mistake and an apology would have made such a difference.

Visited this coffee shop today with some friends and I took a bottle of still water from the refrigerator to the counter to purchase with our order.The staff member told me that they would bring it to the table but I didn’t want a glass, I just wanted my bottle of water. The staff member informed me that I wasn’t allowed to have the bottle as it’s against their policy and also said that my water had to come in a glass. I asked if I could take the bottle without the glass and have a straw with it and they again informed me it was against the rules.The bottle was then taken away with my order and it wasn’t given to me, instead I was given a glass (which probably contained tap water) with ice cubes.I have never had an experience like this in any food serving establishment. I’d imagine the reason for this is because they are not serving the actual product that customers are paying for.
