A very special place. Friendly and welcoming. With fantastic food, the room had a superb view of Skye. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Came to Glenelg Inn for their Sunday roast, which was venison with all the trimmings. It was beautifully cooked and delicious. The £22 price point was a bit steep but I’m guessing that’s because it’s venison. Inside, the Inn is cosy with a roaring fire and Scottish music playing. A beautiful location too with amazing scenery. One thing to note is that their opening hours on here are wrong, as it lists them as closed during Sunday lunch.

I have travelled extensively in Scotland and good pubs are hard to find, great are incredibly special. This one is great!Off the scale service and friendliness, terrific ambience, food that is local and amazing, beers brewed just up the road.Do not miss, it is worth the journey

A superb pub. Went there on a November lunchtime. There was a roaring log fire and very, very pleasant staff. We had starters and a main course and the food was absolutely gorgeous. The beer looked good but as I was driving, sadly I couldn't partake. The location is absolutely stunning and worth the drive alone.I would return here in a heartbeat for the location, welcome, food and next time to sup the ale.Highly recommended.Food & drinks: Superb food.

Couldn't do anything about the behaviour of other families and their children so can't comment on that but I have to figure this was the best pub visit of the Highland Holiday. A roaring fire, staffed well enough, and pretty good scran - happy days. A proper pint of something local is exactly what the soul needed.

Fabulous pub, perfect for lunch when walking in the area. We had phenomenal fishfinger sandwiches. A huge bonus was for our whippet, Maisy, meeting Lola the pub landlord ?!

Can't comment on the rooms but this is a brilliant place to visit. The local beer from the Dun Brewing brewery is lovely. The food is mostly locally sourced & is well presented & very tasty.Every member of staff we've encountered has been been really friendly & chatty. They're great with dogs too, even our loud JRT X,Fyxen ?.We'd highly recommend a stop off here.

Had the absolute pleasure of dining here for lunch and dinner on three separate occasions recently whilst holidaying nearby.Firstly, the atmosphere is great, interior warm and cosy, staff friendly & helpful, beer selection ample - hot tip : choose the ones by local brewery Dun Brewing (great range that is organic, vegan and unfiltered).Food menu changes regularly and caters for all - including gluten intolerant, vegetarians and vegans. We’re vegan and cannot recommend the food highly enough, it’s gastro pub quality, well thought out, put together and the end result is phenomenal! The kitchen and bar staff were extremely accommodating of us and our requirements - even allowing us to bring our own vegan wine and charging us a nominal corkage fee to drink on the premises.Overall, an absolute gem of a place that I’d be truly honoured to call my local.Maybe one day…

My wife and I only had an hour or so to experience this lovely old Inn before heading off to catch the turntable ferry across to Skye. It's without doubt one of the loveliest settings you could wish for, with superb views across the water to Skye, which combined with the atmospheric interior of the old Inn and the great selection of ales and whisky make it a must place to visit for tourists in this part of Scotland .

Amazing food, Venison burger was probably the best I've ever had! Great staff, really welcoming and it was literally 2 mins from where I was staying.Great atmosphere well worth a visit.

We drove from Dornie to glenelg in a motorhome because my wife wanted a "real English Sunday roast"... It was worth every bit of heartburn getting there. The leek and onion soup was great, the roast was great, even the parsnips (which I usually don't like) were great. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was on point. Definitely recommend making the drive.
