Ordered a chicken tikka masala, rice, Nan bread and pakora tonight as a takeaway, when it arrived the tikka masala only had 5 small pieces of chicken in it, not a full portion of rice and pakora was not to the usual standard.Overall all very poor quality have been visiting for years but standard of food has declined recently .

Really disappointed in our takeaway tonight...with everything so expensive this is our treat on payday but the quality of the food was shocking! Pakora sauce like water! Spiced onions the tiniest tub were tasteless and the 2 kormas we had the sauce again was like water and tasteless...I get everywhere making cutbacks and trying to make things go further but when you start messing with the quality of the food that's how you lose customers!!

Gulnar is my local goto for 'Indian' takeaway.I have a large choice of local Asian takeaways and Gulnar is the best. The food is very fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Just bought a garlic nan as I make my curry in the house. $3.80 for a garlic nan bread is absolute joke for what is essentially water and flour

Food and Service were perfection!! My servers were so lovely and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. couldn't have had a better experience. absolutely magical. keep up the good work!

I was in tonight for a meal tonight with grandparents, after enjoying takeaways and recommendations from family/friend.I am not impressed, one girl seem to have a rough idea of correct service.First off no checks at any point at our food was ok and had to wait over 20 minutes for staters despite restaurant been on the quieter side.Stater were ok, but one of the stater the chicken pura had a burnt taste, as if spicy had been burnt during the cooking process.My main came which again was ok, half way through I found a short black curly hair (I am a red head), meal taken away, sorry what like anything else, as I find this poor hygiene in a kitchen working in the industry I couldn’t, as felt sicken by it.No offer of a dessert or queried further, once bill came full charge for everything.At this point I was angry and the manger attitude was so dreadful when I asked why been charged , as he back away showing no interest.I am a restaurant manager working in bothwell, I am shock at this treatment in current tough time for the industry and will not return, will be advising family/friends to stay clear of giving business to a establishment like this, as just paid over 80 for a meal I half eat and still hungry.

Went here midweek for the buffet. Was a great selection and all hot. Was regularly topped up too. Definitely be back.

Have a boys night out at the Gulnar and were not disappointed.Nice entrance to the restaurant up a few flight of stairs which sets the Indian atmosphere.Met by lovely helpful and happy staff and shown to our table.We went for the self service buffet which had been recommended and it was excellent value for money.Plenty of starters and main courses to satisfy everyone and of course you can go up as often as you like.All the plates were kept warm and refreshed by the attentive staff.Really good night out we'll be back.Vegetarian options: Various vegan options.
