Great Location, Food is Delicious and would highly recommend for lunch. First visit had an amazing curry for lunch so went back a few weeks later but the menu had changed. My friend had the goats cheese salad and it was huge and tasty. The wee gift shop is a great idea as it sells local produce. Service is really good, toilets are clean and the car park is massive.

This is a great facility with facilities for all including pets. Very good food with an imaginative menu and a lovely shop with lots of goodies. But….boy does it need staff training! I was shocked to see a young girl plate up the chips with her bare hands and then watched her and colleagues eat chips at the pass. This is unacceptably poor hygiene and needs addressed - I wouldn’t return.

Visited for a coffee and cake with a friend. The coffee was lovely as always, as were the cakes. Drinks took slightly longer than usual but this was understandable at it was a busy time. One of the waiters also came over to say the drinks were on their way but there was a build up, which was good of him to keep us updated. Service was very friendly too. Have been here for lunch before, which is also always fantastic.

Thank you very much to the lovely girls in the shop who were nice enough to weigh out raspberries for me which I needed to make jam. I phoned to enquire if they had any and when I arrived they were all ready for me. Very helpful and friendly staff…thank you! The raspberries were delicious too and made really nice jam!

We stopped in for coffee and cake and left without either. After being shown to a table we were clearly forgotten, after 7 minutes without any form of acknowledgment we left disappointed.

We loved this place ?? not only are the decorations nice and the winter garden a great place where you want to stay a while, also the food is outstanding, nicely decorated and delicious ? the service is great and we can highly recommend coming here!! Also exploring the shop is worthwhile - we tested a few products and can recommend the berry salad sauce!

Its been a while since I was here. There is now a big extension out the back. Food is still reasonable but service very poor. The waiting staff are all teenagers and seem a bit clueless. Service was very slow and at one point I was beginning to think that there was only one person in the kitchen. Management need to initiate a proper training program.

I’d rather you didn’t go - so there is a table for me!! What a fabulous gem of a restaurant alongside a lovely farm shop. There are two sections to the restaurant. A conservatory, which is available for use with your 4 legged friends. And then an indoor restaurant. The staff were efficient and friendly. The choice of food was good and prices were fair. We each had a toastie and it came with salad, slaw and crisps! Plenty to eat! BUT……. You need to keep room for dessert! On the day we went there were at least 20 choices of cakes, slices and other goodies. And they are big!!! My mum and her friend split a cream meringue and even split it was HUGE!! The kitchen staff have to be praised. The quality of their food and the speed things came out. They must be a finely tuned machine! Well done!! Is there any downside. Not down just a caution. The conservatory is not fully enclosed, it’s all glass but has gaps around all the panels. So if it’s cold outside, you might find it chilly. They take reservations and I would book if I was going during a popular time and I wanted an inside table. I hope you love this place as much as we did!!

Excellent dining experience.\\nIt's a must stop between Aberdeen and Dundee.\\nThe place has a lovely vibe. Staff is super friendly, and the service is impeccable.\\nFood is delicious, we ordered sandwiches, macaroni, strawberry tart and some cakes, everything was good. Strawberry tart steals the show.\\nSelection of coffee is also very good.\\nBetween May and September, visitors can also experience strawberry picking.

Always a pleasure to stop at this restaurant café with their beautiful conservatory and indoor seating. The food is so fresh and locally sourced. It is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The staff are so helpful and attentive. We are never rushed and everything is so clean. Thanks again for another pleasant lunch!

Stopped off for coffee & scones. I ordered a large latte and was glad of it as the cup wasn’t what I’d consider ‘large’. Scones were good, service was good, but high price overall for what it was.

Absolutely spot on. Went here for lunch for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The staff went way over and above the expected norm, giving us top notch service, some flowers for my parents, tastefully decorated puddings, and spending a significant amount of time making sure our lunch was as special as possible. Food was excellent, staff excelled themselves and the location was very pleasant indeed. I can remember this establishment arriving in its most basic form. Despite its challenges with road closures it has kept its head above and is still very much flying it's kite. If you want a great lunch, look no further. And the good news is, you can probably buy most of the ingredients for what you ate in a very well stocked farm shop under the same roof. Just great.

Discovered the farm shop, via sign by road, on way home to Staffordshire from friends in Fraserburgh. 1st time seemed a long way off main road but OMG in reality it isn't and WOW well worth the detour of 5 minutes. Been there twice now. Need a third visit as I've run out of Strawbery Vinegar if you have time it's an absolute necessary stop. The meringue .......... ❤️
