Went for a christmas diner and the food was fantastic! Turkey was tender and the gravy was fantastic. The soup was a bit of a let down but as a whole the meal was fantastic. 10/10 and will be back again.

Love this place great value for your money and portion sizes are perfect after a game of golf and the pint of Heverlee was one of the best pints I have had in a long time?. They also brought a bowl of water with ice for our dog aswell ...great customer service.Nearby activities: Very central location for do many links golf courses, we played Dumbarnie and then decided to come here for food and drinks before heading home.Food & drinks: Food is very reasonable and to a really flavourful. I haven't had one thing here over the couple decades I have been coming here that has not been tasty.

We had a great night. Lovely Staff, great food & a fair amount of drink. Sounds sad but we had fun playing dominoes & the other people in the bar/restaurant were good fun. Definitely worth a visit.

Celebrated our diamond wedding along with family on 2nd September 23 in the function suite. The room and layout were just as we requested and the menu choice was just what we wanted. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the quality food provided and the service was spot on also a special thankyou to Dillon who looked after us so well. Could highly recommend The Upper Largo Hotel and Restaurant. William Richardson

Whilst in the area, we used the hotel for brekkie and dinner that same night. The facilities, service, and food were superb. I highly recommend a visit.

Nice place to visit and staff helpful and welcoming for our lunchtime visit. Nice open restaurant and was sat in conservatory window that was clean, not sticky like our previous place we had tried on same day. Not cramped for space. Menu choice was good and reasonable priced. My wife had scampi and I ordered reasonably priced Lobster with sheeted and bacon chips. My wife’s meal was good and mine looked great but the lobster, albeit looked great was not. It was rubbery and almost inedible. The cheese chips and bacon was too heavily loaded with cheese that in my opinion was not to my taste. It congealed basically to a solid lump and you had to cut and eat with a knife and fork. Lobster cooking, I would have thought was something, in this locality especially, would take pride in cooking. Either frozen and blasted in microwave or just overcooked but I suspect the former might be the truth. I did mention to the staff on being asked f meal was ok and they showed empathy but nothing else. Pity as I so looked forward to my lobster first I had since Caribbean cruise 10+ years ago. I would go back but would leave lobster in the freezer and order something else.

I don't often write a review ,we stopped in for lunch I had dressed crab and my husband had fish and chips . It was excellent and reasonably priced ,I work in the trade and can be very critical. But it was great.

Visited this restaurant on two consecutive evenings for dinner and was not disappointed. The first evening I had steak pie and could have licked the plate. My husband had breaded Haddock and said it was excellent. The second evening I had fish and my husband had a beef burger which looked amazing. Service was very good but getting a second drink was a bit of a chore. Granted, the restaurant was very busy and it’s full of wee nooks and crannies therefore, staff didn’t have an overview. Our dog was given water and biscuits and staff made time to greet all dogs when they arrived. Staff organised a taxi for us to return to the Monturpie Caravan/Camping Site. It was 20 minutes downhill walk but too dark to return by foot as there is a busy road outside the restaurant. The hotel/restaurant offers limited parking in their courtyard but there is another parking area opposite. I would recommend parking in the courtyard if you have children or vulnerable adults on board. Lovely outside seating area under cover and the restaurant has plenty of seating inside. Nevertheless, I would recommend booking as it gets really busy as it serves food all day.

Brilliant little find. Great location from the beach, perfect for dinner. The food was amazing, the service impeccable! They're so friendly, attentive, and polite. More than just pub grub, the Steak Pie is definitely worth a try.

We loved our room and the breakfast was great. But don't be critical about their food. Our Friday night dinner( which was my sister's 1st Anniversary with her husband who has stage 4 cancer)...was awful. Chilli con Carne with about 5 beans and no meat. More like a tomato salsa. Mac n cheese with no cheese chicken burger with thigh and gristle. Tried to discuss but chef told us to leave and not come back!

Had dinner here, never stayed in the hotel. Was put in the bar as we had dogs with us, Food was good, place was a bit cramped and spoiled a bit by a noisy woman cackling like a witch.Would not recommend if with dogs, probably better in the restaurant.

The food here is fantastic. Only slightly let down by the less attentive service. No drinks menu offered. Extra cutlery brought out in hand and shoved under my husband's nose. Just my opinion, but the service needs to match the quality of food.
