Stopped by for a quick coffee after being intrigued by the shark toilet sign. Owners could not have been nicer and what we all had was lovely. Would definitely stop by here again if passing.

Where do I start a very warm welcome when we arrived a great selection available on the menu, made to feel really welcome all the time we were there, we had baked potatoes which were delicious, then apple crumble and custard.A credit to the area somewhere locals like myself can pop in for a coffee and a blether.so if your ever in this area it’s a must place to stop, and it’s also right on the main route with its own private car park.

What a lovely little place. Wasn't planning on stopping for a bite but ended up sat in theor conservatory having the best bbq steal burger iv ever had. Staff are super friendly. Pricing and portion size are spot on for a light bite.

We nipped in today whilst out and about for a bite to eat. Fantastic atmosphere, outstanding customer service. We're thinking about booking them for a stay as its so conveniently placed. Cheeky wee surprise in the bathroom that everyone, especially the kids will enjoy.

Stopped off to the cafe after a snowy start to the day. Very warm fire awaiting you and very nice friendly welcome. Lunch was delicious and took some home baked scones, butter and Jam away with us for our tea. Thank you very

The Golden Larches is a lovely place to eat. We were staying just down the road over Xmas and had breakfast here twice. The staff are absolutely lovely - so friendly and welcoming. They serve breakfast all day which I think is great and the food is very nice. Dogs are very welcome too. I would absolutely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Can't comment on rooms as we did not stay.We had a variety of meals including vegiterian, full breakfasts and even beenz on toast and it was amazing food well presented and hot.Well worth stopping in for a meal and they are dog friendly our dog Harley ate all their treats. We will be back.

Just had a mid-drive lunch at the cafe, so can’t review the rooms. The hostess was so friendly and kind - I think she said “thank you” like 50 times during my 30 minute visit! Got a sandwich and coffee to enjoy in the conservatory area and grabbed a bakewell to-go (it was SO GOOD, worth the stop alone). Saw plenty of birds at the bird feeder and some deer in the back yard!

Stopped there yesterday with our old Routemaster bus with around 20 people. The owners of the Golden Larch were very welcoming, especially as we just turned up out of the blue, lol. really nice food , coffee with oatmilk not a problem, good vegetarian meals as well as meals with meat, but most of all was the warm welcome , hopefully we will pop vack on our way back down south, highly recommended ?

Lovely breakfast at the Golden larches on a morning cycle. Good food, great value for money, and lovely owners. Also visited the world famous shark toilet!

Fantastic cafe! The owners are so welcoming and friendly and have made so many wonderful changes to the Golden Larches inside and out!Always a good meal, excellent coffee and yummy cakes! The wood burning stove and the views make the conservatory area a very cosy and lovely place to sit! Also very doggy friendly and not to forget the amazing Shark Toilet! A must stop on the way up north, highly recommend

My wife and I visited this delightful cafe just over a week ago on the way home from a week in Argyll. What a picturesque spot, with outdoor seating overlooking a gurgling stream, and plenty of parking - which had been recently landscaped most attractively! We had coffee, a scone and a tray-bake, all of which were delicious. We were intrigued by the "shark toilet" reference! But what made the stop most memorable was the warm welcome and friendly chat we had with the owners. Andrea seemed genuinely interested in our feedback even as passing customers. We wish them every success in their new venture!

We stopped in for a quick coffee on our way home from Loch Tay. The lady who served us could not have been friendlier or kinder. She made us feel so welcome and was especially lovely to our little girl! Also, best scone I've.had in a long time! Delicious!
