Ordered large chicken kebab which was roughly £8 watching the guy making it he picks up 2 skewers and cook's them puts chicken in kebab and leaves some on hot plate I asked you forgot to put my chicken into my kebab he Said that's for another order I kid you not. Also while I was waiting I observed him making a pizza with donner meat he picked the slice of donner meat up one at a time and laid it onto the pizza until the pizza was covered 6 pieces that was it I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Honestly keep your money go elsewhere.

So while I put a review down on Christmas Day, it was for a visit while you guys were actually open a few days before. Kl. Now that we've clarified how reviews work let me expend on the three stars across the board and my reasons for them. Which I didn't bother sharing in the first place but you maybe need them. Absolutely average. Got a fish supper and it was fine. Nice three stars but nothing special, service and atmosphere the same. In, order, out with standard food. Thus my three stars across the board. Now just in case you didn't hear me in the back, I wasn't in on Christmas Day, simoky prompted by Google and I glad thag you'll be open whatever day your response says but unfortunately I'll be going to differnt chippy's. There better in Lochgelly and much much better across Fife. Sorry your three stars hurt so much and hope you've had a good Christmas too.

worst chippy in lochgelly i had the squits 9 times & ran out of loo roll & had to use my socks ..it was terrible !!!

Stopped in here for a fish supper for myself and burger supper for my daughter, food was fresh and really tasty , chip had a perfect crispy coating and fluffy on the inside , absolutely perfectly cooked , well worth a visit if you are in the

Poor service staff that look down there nose at you food is at best the best in Lochgelly but all the takeaways suck in Lochgelly so pay an extra pound and get something from Cowdenbeath that is good

Better by miles than the golden fry across the road and cheaper too
Just had a chefs special pizza that I normally have. This one was the worst I have ever had. Got a chilli base that was literally smothered in the chilli sauce used for the kebabs. It used to be a tomato base with raw chilli paste on it. The one I had was inedible. Need to go back to what u do best.

Love this chippy. Been using the same chippy for past 6/7 years . There Icelandic boneless fish suppers are the best around and I've tried a good few not a single chippy about here comes close to A&R. From burgers , pizzas . Kebabs all excellent quality food. Also very reasonable with there prices. Quick deliverys from lochgelly to me in cowdenbeath aswell. Always piping hot when it arrives thanks again ?

Despite living in Lochgelly deliveries always take well over an hour no matter when you order. Tonight it was 1 hr, 20 mins on a Wednesday night. Ordered Limeade but received Lemonade with no one calling or driver asking if substitute OK and this hasn't been the first time. We like A&R and find their calzones very good but chip shop side disappointing with suppers soggy when they arrive, they definitely should be separated with a grease proof film or something like some other chip shops offer to stop half your dinner sticking to the box or soggy pudding supper that isn't crispy. Unless you collect it delivery takes forever

Their pizzas used to be excellent, but now it's cheese, pizza with cheese and extra cheese on top of your topping with double cheese, and cheesy cheese on top!!! I like cheese, but, fgs, please!!!! Ease up on the cheese?
