Yummmm! Delicious food and a warm welcome at Argyll Cafe ?

Visited this place before X-Mas as I was staying overnight in Lochgilphead , it was seemed to me busy from outside so popped in , staff were busy but still they were welcoming each and every guest pleasantly. I ordered coffee first as it was freezing outside , Then I ordered Chicken Goujons which was fresh and juicy , I’m sure they were made homemade the way the were tasted , last but not in the list i ordered chicken Pizza which was perfect as I was looking for , been here almost a year tried pizzas here and there never found what I was looking for there was a chef Michael who explain me about there homemade pizza dough procedure and also the ingredients they use in pizzas it shows there passion for food and good customer service ? Thank you for good food and pleasant service , special thanks for chef Michael ? Will definitely visit again in future , The best place ❤️

The carry-out large haddock supper was very good and one portion was sufficient for two of us. Prices were a little cheaper than what we would pay at home in Central Scotland. This cafe appears popular and food is cooked to order so you may have a bit of a wait at busy times.

One of the best calzones I've ever had. They seated us on short notice, even with dogs. Fast service, nice staff, good food, well priced.

Busy little place. No table available when I got there but within minutes, had a table sorted for me.The breaded haddock was just sublime - best I have had in a long time!!

Good quality food in simple, happy environment. We ordered the fish and chips (great) but we're eyeing up the pizzas as they came out too.

Reluctant to go in this cafe but the young man at front of house was lovely , very freindly and very accommodating for me and my in-laws and dog . Food was nice and sufficient with great chips and nice coffee
