Called for a drink and snack, lovely quaint little place. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Delicious food cooked to order, and a good range of home baked cakes. The haggis roll was absolutely delicious, thankyou Eilidh and Kirstie.

A great little independent coffee shop that's dog and people friendly! Opens when others are often shut. One of the few places in Lochgilphead that does a sit down fried breakfast. I just had an oat milk flat white, and a great chat with the owner while I was waiting for my car.

Pretty average , wouldn't rush back fancied a takeaway breakfast but it was greasy cold and bland , picture kind of says it all , would say a bit pricey for what you get

Understaffed, slow to take orders and slow receiving orders, I even went back to get my son a cup of tea for the road but was waiting too long, I'm sure it was just an off morning but this is my experience on that day not what I needed for a long journey home, on a plus side the cake my wife got was nicely done not too sweet and my haggis roll was nice ????????I don't normally edit reviews but just to set the owner straight I wasn't having an off day my day was great I was talking about the café, there were 4 people in when I was there that's not busy, if you can't cater for more than 4 people at a time then you need to have a look at what your doing.I won't change what I said about the food yes it was nice, I leave honest reviews if you don't like it fine but don't make out I was the one having a bad day, it's not me who needs customers and attitude won't get you them ?

amazing little cafe, dogs allowed but we didn’t bring ours in, the food was on the pricey side but other than that, delicious! i had a square sausage and fried egg roll and it was a deliciously cooked egg and tasty sausage, on a fat roll. but, the star of the show, thr traybake, there was a good selection of tray bakes, (6-7) and i had the biscoff tray bake, and, o.m.g, it was Amazing! well done salty dog, great staff and food.

At 09.41a woman came out of the cafe and locked the front door and drove off in a car. So no breakast for me and just had to make this review. The cafe doesn't deserve the 1 star.

Visited a couple of times while passed through Lochgilphead. The town waterfront has been recently spruced up and looks good but overall it is clear that hospitality businesses here have really struggled recently eg most pubs have closed. So it’s good to see a cafe such as this make a real go of it in such challenging times. Menu choice is good and standard of food is excellent. Very friendly and welcoming service.

A nice little spot to grab a coffee and a treat out of the wind. Coffee tastes good they had a great selection of treats, that we took a couple away with us for our boys. Had a very nice bacon sandwich in a soft roll.
