A lovely walk with the dogs although if your dogs like water it might be too tempting not to jump off the boardwalk :-) A great place to take children who can try and spot bugs in the wee ponds of water dotted about near the boardwalk without wading in. Loved it. Thanks.

Visited, again had issues using my all star card. This has happened twice now, the first time the issue got resolved quickly and professional and the staff were very helpful about it. Just there I had the same issue but the lady was rude about it. She was adamant that I had a pin for the card which the year I have been using the card I have never had a pin. I was extremely humiliated by the way the female spoke to me as it was very unprofessional (what happened to the customer always being right?) I won’t be returning to this Petrol station as it’s happened one too many times. Very unhappy about this.

Nightshift staff who are oblivious to customers waiting for 10 minutes to be served then added to by shutting off pumps after authorising because it’s cash only and you’ve not used the cash machine before getting fuel.

Great shop, great hot food and great toilets, but for the last 18 months there have been two EV chargers out of service. I'd stop here ever day if the chargers worked!

Service at BP Monkton was excellent today, came in after work and even though the staff were busy they were extremely polite and quick with service. Dave signed me up to a BPme reward card and told me about all the benefits! Will definitely be back!

Today I was in Monkton garage and my child was standing with me at the pump. Not operating it or doing anything other than standing next to me.The assistant decided that he was not going to allow me to get petrol without putting him back in the car.My child is disabled. He can't be left in the car on his own and even if he could he is under the recommended age to legally be left in the car.I won't be returning to Monkton and we use it daily for 2 cars! Bang out of order. I've worked in a petrol garage for years and there is absolutely no law that states my child should be left in the car while I use the pump. I think you should re train your employee on the laws because no where in scottish law does it state that a child should be left in a car while you fill it up!

Have used this BP for years to fill my work vans and own car . Always found the price very reasonable plus I use the Ultimate fuel in my car which is far a more superior fuel than the other high performance fuels around . Nice friendly upbeat staff always pleasant and chatty . I often buy a Coffee or something from the M&S shop aswell so I can travel to where ever I'm headed without having to stop . Nice clean toilets . 5 star rating every time .

Always found this garage clean and tidy and pleasant staff but could someone inform the arrogant night shift manager that BP Monkton is not an official council Truckstop it is merely anHGV parking area to allow drivers to stop for a coffee and then move on.They should not be sitting any length of time with engines or Fridges running especially at night.How would she like it outside her house.
