arrive here in the early hours of the morning having travelled 12 hours to start work that morning the room was freezing no heating on had to sleep in my clothes and wear a hat terrible the heating was put on during the day when i came back from work but must of gone off over night as the room was freezing again in the morning found a mouldy orange in the fruit bowl disgusting

This has to be the worst hotel room I've ever been in. It was dirty, run down and certainly not worth the £70 fee for the night. It was a last minute booking and the bed was comfy enough but cleanliness and maintenance were both very much low on the priorities.There were sanitary wrappings on the floor next to the toilet, the seat of which was hanging off, the bin had the previous occupants shampoo sachet in it, the shower head was black with mould, no handle on the bathroom door and the remote control needed dipped in sanitiser.Breakfast isn't even something I'd give my kids, who has cupcakes from Farmfoods and I can't remember ever eating chocolate hoops?The most disappointing was the lack of staff presence, especially in the morning.... zero hospitality after the money is taken.If this is a last resort then be prepared otherwise avoid.

We had a 40th birthday party and would like to thank DJ Thee-e-e-ecys for the banging retro happy hard-core tunes at 2:00 in the afternoon! Took us all back to our youth. Well worh the four starsNegative points;Ecstasy too expensive!! 2 for £10, it used to be 3 for £10 back in our dayNeighbours were rude telling us to "shut your noise up!!"Hole it the toilet wall

As I stated in my last review , no management presents on arrival , states you can book in after 1500 hours , when really it after 17 00 hours . Continental breakfast consists of Capri juice, breakfast bar , Kit Kat , &an apple or banana . Poor continental I’d say . WS accused by the person who replied to my lady review of not paying my bill , giving them the wrong card details , funny as the full payment left my account , he needs management and people skills . His attitude towards my review , was nothing less than rude , needs to check his facts before replying to reviews.. I booked through booking . Com . And paid through them . SO YOU DID GET PAID . If , you still dispute this then take it up with Booking.com . Not me . Needless to say I will never return to hillside hotel . And will inform family and friends , about my experience there . Let’s see if you take this review down , like you did the last one . I’d Like to say thanks for the experience , but it’s one I’d like to forget

Average but rooms match the rate. Unfortunately I did not sleep well due the the low standard of mattress which is a big deal when needing a good night's sleep. The food was good and the rooms where clean. The staff where friendly and helpful. The location is very close to the train tracks so again more disturbance when sleeping.

It's been a while since we've eaten here & it was a bit of a disappointment. It wasn't a bad meal but it wasn't particularly great either. Lovely starters but burgers overcooked & tasteless. Had to ask for the coleslaw stated on the menu, which came in one of those tiny paper ketchup tubs. The chocolate sundae was 50% squirty cream. Slightly compensated by kids mains being free with each adult main but you were charged for the ice cream which is included in the menu price. All in all very average ?
