wee shop in the middle of Montrose! It's a typical subway store with excellent staff! It'd be great if it has a toilet

Thank you so much to Scott and the other girl at Montrose Subway today, we live in arbroath and we ordered our food and card machine wouldn't let us pay with our phone and we stupidly didn't have our bank card. Scott thankfully had his card and let us transfer him money and he paid with his card. Thank you so much such a kind gesture we are very grateful

Had stopped in Montrose for a short while and decided to go to the Subway for lunch. As per usual staff were effecient and friendly and my friend and I picked our choices. As there was an empty table in the shop we sat and ate our sandwiches.

Shocking experience after waiting over 15 minutes in a small queue of four, when I reached the front of the queue I was told I would have to wait for them to catch up with their Internet orders. After standing almost another ten minutes, the three staff members were still going through Internet orders. The whole way they dealt with the situation was flawed and badly organised. With three staff members, it would make sense that one member of staff solely worked on Internet orders and the other two members of staff worked with the public who had made the effort to actually come to the shop. After standing nearly 25 minutes in a queue that originally had four customers I said to the lady staff member this is ridiculous and left. Due to covid my friend was standing outside in the rain and ended up soaked. Sadly I have mobility problems and standing for that length of time has left me in pain and my son did not get his meatball sub.There was no apology or response, they made no attempt to speak with the customers on site. When I left there was another five customers behind me.It really was a farce and incredibly disappointing. This was my first and last time visiting the Montrose Subway. I recommend staff training in organisation and customer services.We do enjoy subways, this was an experience at Montrose and it does not affect our overall feelings of the subway brand.

Subway is one of my favourite places to eat when I’m hungry but not wanting an actual meal. The Montrose branch is on the main high street with plenty of parking nearby. There is a ‘sit in’ area, but no customer toilets. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food always looks fresh and tastes great. Huge selection of fillings and draft Pepsi/Max/Diet or selected bottles/hot drinks to wash it down. If you like freshly prepared sandwiches, made exactly how you like them, then I recommend you visit Subway.

Subway has been asked to sign up to better welfare for chickens and continues to refuse to do this even though it is aware of the suffering it causes to chickens by not doing so - therefore I will no longer be giving Subway my custom .

After a long walk around the town of Montrose, we went to find somewhwere to eat. Due to Covid, there was nowhere open so decided to just have a Subway instead. So we joined a queue with 3 parties in front of us. After 20 minutes the first party were served and after a further 10 minutes, the second party were still waiting for their simple order to be dispensed. We noted that only one man was serving at the front of the shop and it appeared that two others were working inside. We have used Subway elsewhere many times to our satisfaction but sorry we can't say the same for the Montrose Branch. After 30 minutes or so, we left the queue and went to a local baker where wer found the service and fare to be very good indeed. This Subway branch should get its house in order very soon or it will lose ite custom.

This is part of a national chain and the standard here was the same as elsewhere, with reasonable food and quick service
