Enjoyed a fabulous meal with my son after a very hectic day, the 3 mile drive was worth it!

We were welcomed by the village’s peacock himself, beautiful food and the best sticky toffee pudding by far!!

We have never had a bad experience here & last night was no exception. The Valentine evening menu was delicious & good value. The addition of canopes & a glass of prosecco on the house was a nice touch . I would recommend this restaurant anytime.

Great food. A wee bit pricey, but very tasty and friendly staff too.
Often passed over the last 35years but never been in until today. Well worth the visit. We only had the 2-course lunch deal and sat in the public bar but the food was excellent, and really good value. Taking a look at the a la carte menu still looked decent for lunch or for dinner. However without doubt book ahead and arrive in good time. The parking is limited and gets busy, the local roads are narrow so alternative parking is difficult.

Good pub menu, with a lot of local specials. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for and you pay for quality. The food is well cooked and really flavoursome. We went on a Friday lunchtime having booked, it was a good job we did, it was full, that tells you all you need to know

Quaint eatery close to the nearby Cawdor Castle Manor House. The building is a historic site in itself, having an older section that used to be used in the past. The food is a selection of mostly a Scottish fare and an extensive specials menu as well (both food and drinks).Prices are quite reasonable for a speciality restaurant and service is normally extremely quick. It is recommended to reserve during peak season, however, seeing as it can fill up quickly.

Food was amazing, atmosphere was brilliant. A word of warning be sure to book in advance of your visit or you might find yourself disappointed. Perfect for your relaxing dinner.

Truly amazing dinner here. Both the chicken supreme with haggis filling and the steak & ale pie were some of the best food we’ve had in ages.
