I am both absolutely gutted and appalled with the service of my dinner at the weekend. As customers for many years, we have always recommended to anyone looking for a fabulous takeaway, however, tonight has reassured us that this business has lost some very reliable customers as we will not be back!Food was cold, and when contacted to inform, the owner couldn’t have been any less interested, hanging up the phone. I called back to ask if signal had been lost to be informed that in fact, the owner was far too busy to take my phone call.No replacement food was offered, no refund given, nor a free meal for the next order.£37 spent for cold food that had to be microwaved for us to even remotely enjoy.Absolutely disgusted, and will no longer recommend for food that is overpriced and cold.

The owner was running his fingers through my kebab like a hairdresser applying a shampoo, twice he bent down out of sight and continued rubbing his fingers through the food, when i started eating the kebab it had dirt, dust and other gritty debris, truly disgusting, do not order from here, you have been warned, seriously, avoid.

Disgusted at the attitude of the owner when I phoned up to let him know my food was cold. Refused to do anything and hung up. Food was stone cold and way overpriced. £40 for 4 meals that were cold. Not what you want on a Saturday night. Will not be using again.

Fast and efficient service. We ordered online. Food was ready for collection when we arrived. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Food was the best donner we have had in Scotland to date. The jumbo mix nan was perfect. Delicious, hot, not too spicy and the nan was so soft and fresh. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning in the future. Also halal which was a plus.Parking: Opposite side of street or further down

First impressions of Kebab city was it was quite dated. I went to collect our meal at 5.30pm and was there for 40minutes waiting. During waiting I noticed a lot of flies inside the shop. This put me off and I had to stand outside whilst waiting. When waiting for our food the man behind the counter informed me they had been there for 30years and all the food was cooked to order. We ordered a jumbo mix kebab with nan bread and chips which came to £14.70. We were also charged £80p for having our salad separate. This was a cheek as the salad was provided in a snack bag and not a container, which upon questioning them about the additional charges they advised it was due to cost of the containers and labelling the contents (we received one small sauce tub, no labelling and no container for the salad. I wasn’t informed of the charge when ordering initially and they just added it on without letting us know. The food within the counter at the front had no coverings and this was a concern due to the amount of flies inside the shop. I understand it’s summer time but take time to get the fly spray out and make sure to keep the food on display covered. When we got home and we’re disappointed to say the least. 80% of the kebab was just extremely greasy Donna meat. Hidden underneath was 1 piece of Shish cut into tiny cube size pieces and maybe 2 or 3 at most chicken pieces cut up again into small cubes to make it look as if there was more. This is not an exaggeration, so if you’re not keen on Donna do not get this option. The sauce was okay, really sweet, the Nan bread was fine, never touched the salad because of the flies hanging around and the food being uncovered. The man was friendly and tried to make conversation to distract from the 40minute wait time and additional charges sneakily added on without explanation. The meat wasn’t particularly tasty and I would say over salted. It would have been nice to get some more spice or flavouring instead of killed with salt. And the Donna was very fatty and dead from sweating away inside the Bain Marie for that time.Despite the shop being 30 years old the food didn’t reflect this and was just a standard salty kebab that you would find in any kebab shop in any town. Due to the over pricing and lack of flavour and food quality we won’t be eating here again.

I love this kebab shop endlessly, the love I have for it is underlying. I love a chicken tikka soba mirchi in ma belly, best kebab shop about with friendly staff and delicious food along with a cheery funny man making pizzas out front of the shop, love the Halloween decor they had out too, need to get some for myself. I've been eating here for nearly 30 years, the foods some of the best you will get in the West Coast. Every kebab shop around the valley and beyond, keeps changing hands constantly with no consistency, but this place amazes me, it is still owned and operated by the original owners. So they're obviously doing something right.
