This should be a really nice restaurant but avoid the xmas period. There is no working website and no obvious menu. When we booked for new year we were not told it was a 'fixed menu'.The fixed menu was bizarre and eye wateringly expensive. We and others left because of this and the restaurant was essentially empty.No pizza, no pasta and no childrens menu. The squid starter is normally £9 but for new year it was £13.50. Main courses were £30-40 compared to the more normal £10-15 on a typical night.Kid-friendliness: No childrens menu for new year.

Fantastic little restaurant! The food was so tasty and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend :) We were just visiting North Berwick for the day and so glad we chose this little gem to eat in will definitely return if in the area again.

2 fantastic meals here during our stay in North Berwick celebrating our silver wedding 3 years late ( due to Covid and caring for a parent). We met in North Berwick 34 years ago. Service, food and atmosphere here fantastic! See you next year

We checked the reviews before booking. Wise move, the food was superb, fast service. The mushroom risotto was one of the best that we have tasted. Highly recommend, you must book a table if you're visiting North Berwick!
Me and my friends were recommended by another friend to go to this restaurant. While our expectations were already high, after visiting they still managed to surprise us with the quality of the service, the food, and the lovely cozy atmosphere the restaurant holds. Cucina Amore presents a wide range of Italian foods that you are guaranteed to like at least once, and the owners were so lovely- they made us feel like we were one of the family. The food was incredible, I especially recommend the Cucina Amore and Margherita pizza and the Capesante starter. Thank you so much for the lovely time we enjoyed!

Was at Cucina Amore for dinner this evening. We had a superb meal. There’s a really varied menu and every course we chose was superb, beautifully flavoured and cooked to perfection. I would thoroughly recommend

Both the food and service were excellent. The owner was very gracious with her time and attention. The food preparation was very authentic Italian. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation, and hope to visit it again when I am in Scotland next year.

I chose the restaurant on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews and I reckon the reviewers were spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. It is unpretentious, good Italian food, served quickly but there is no rush to get you out and we enjoyed eating at our own pace and having a wee chat to the folks at the table next to us. There was a good mix of choices from pasta to meat dishes to pizza and they all looked delicious. I had scallops to start with and they were done to perfection. Next I had tagliatelle with a tomato and cream based sauce and king prawns. Again, superb. My wife, who is coeliac, had a good choice of food too and went for the special which was monkfish and she was very impressed as well. The wine list was good too and we enjoyed a bottle of Soave with our meal-a light, fruity wine. So, well done all reviewers who gave it good marks. I’m right there with you.
