I’ve had fantastic coffee here but it very much depends on the barista. Today it was not so good. The milk in the latte was a bit thin and the coffee was a bit burnt. I won’t give up tho - might just avoid

Still the lovely staff and great atmosphere but, now no savoury or hot food - just coffee and cake - why ?? Cake was however good.

Our first visit to Steampunk, loved the setting and was dog friendly. Vegan option for cake which was very welcome. Coffee was good but not hot enough (I know this is a common theme with baristas) but my hot chocolate wasn't over hot either.......all the same we will be back next time we visit. The atmosphere was cosy and I loved the selection of coffee goods on sale.

My favourite coffee. The cake selection is not usually very wide but I'm there for coffee first and foremost, and whilst good options are limited the quality is good. It's impossible for me to leave without a bag of beans.
Chilled experience. Great service and coffee. Outdoor seating

Loved everything about this coffee shop! If I were local, this would be my go-to haunt. The large interior has an industrial vibe, and the courtyard outside is a perfect place to enjoy some sunshine. When I was here they had some cold brew, and I was lucky enough to get the last of it with a splash of oat milk. They also had a few bakery items, including a vegan banana bread that was DELICIOUS. A thick, moist slab loaded with nuts and dried cranberries maybe? There was just something "more" to it!As of writing this they no longer offer hot/savory food which they did pre-pandemic; the focus here is on the coffee (which they roast on site). They also have pizza parties every Friday and Saturday from 4 to 7pm. Proud of my "coffee and social solidarity" sticker which I bought and stuck to my water bottle to remind me of the little slice of heaven that is Steampunk!

Hidden gem! One of the best roasters in Scotland I've found. Don't get coffee anywhere else in North Berwick. This is craft at its best. Keep up the good work!
