Came here for evening dinner and drinks - had mac and cheese which was delicious ?. Staff were very accommodating - warm, friendly and positive. Coming back here next time I'm in North
I booked online and it was great to see you had kindly given us a booth for our lunch, with a clear reservation sign.Service was friendly and fast.We both had the half fish and chips and both of us really enjoyed it.The coffees were also good.All in all, excellent- it was our first visit and we will be happy to go again.

Not having been to The Ship for a while I decided to take some family members for lunch and it was a great decision. The food was excellent - fresh, food portion size, well cooked and it arrived promptly, and was good VFM. Service was great - quick, attentive and friendly, and there was a superb atmosphere - buzzy, with lots of dogs fresh from beach walks. If anything could have been improved it would be the addition of a Sunday roast, and I'm sure it would be excellent, I'll definitely be back!

This is a nice pub. It is cosy without feeling at all claustrophobic. Food was good and servings generous. Staff very friendly. Worth a visit.
