I had the 5-course surprise tasting menu "Just Feed Us" and enjoyed all the dishes. Lovely colour design, textures and mix of ingredients altogether. It was truly designed with surprises all along. Good portion for each dish and carefully measured and paced out to feed the eager and hungry.

People of Perth, make sure you visit this restaurant; its superb, a real gem. It serves superbly coked and beautifully presented modern Scottish cuisine with real flair and invention, adding twists to dishes that celebrate Scottish ingredients. We paired our lunch with the wine flights and so each of the four courses was enhanced by a different wine, that each time, fully complemented the food.I think it's a real addition to Perth's dining scene. I'm now planning how to incorporate a return visit into my next trip to Scotland.

Had a wonderful private dining celebration here with family and friends for my husband’s 60th birthday . Christopher helped me organise the event and even set up the room with balloons and banners. The food was amazing. Would definitely recommend. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and served with drinks fresh bread and whipped butter. Once allergies and preferences are established the food is prepared and soon arrives. There is no menu or choice as such since it is a surprise tasting menu. The portions are relatively small but full of flavour, delicious and memorable. Starting with the oxtail and Chanterelles, the pickled herring with strawberries, Chicken ballotine and sweetcorn followed by a Raspberry celebration with a pine foam. Some unusual pairings and carefully crafted flavour combinations showing skill and finesse very like a Michelin establishment. This is not somewhere for comfort food or big steaks, but a well paced very enjoyable meal, allow about 2 & 1/2 hours.

I would have given a 5 star revue but for a couple of glaring issues. Firstly the -advertised price for lunch was £34 only to be billed £38 . No apology. No explanation. I Think it’s illegal advertising a price in the window and then charging more in the bill. Secondly I had an issue with my second course. Don’t want to expand on this. But at the very least there should have been a gesture to recognise the seriousness of the mistake. Eg a complimentary drink. Apart from the above the food and wine were excellent. However the cheese course at an extra £15 for 6 small pieces of cheese is a complete rip off. So avoid this.

We have been regular visitors to 63 but this was our first since Chris took over with his new chef, Stuart. I had the pescatarian options and my partner the meat. Each course was a masterpiece of flavors and we loved every mouthful. Graeme had big shoes to fill but we think Stuart has more than filled them with his own spectacular style. Huge thank you to both for a fabulous evening and for anyone who has ever thought about booking before but hasn’t, DO! You will certainly not be disappointed.

Our lunch at 63 Tay Street was outstanding. My companion’s meal needed to be dairy free, so for each course, she was given a variation on the standard menu. The chef had gone to a lot of trouble to ensure her meal was dairy-free, but in no way inferior. The menu was imaginative, cooked to perfection and stunningly presented. Following tasty sourdough rolls fresh from the oven, our starter was Nettle Risotto with goats cheese and toasted hazelnuts. I had anticipated that the nettle risotto would be slightly bitter and earthy, but it wasn’t. The flavour was subtle and delicious, and the contrast of texture and colour with the hazelnuts and goats cheese made a wonderful combination. The fish course was a feast for the eyes, and a treat to the palate. Home pine smoked salmon was served on a bed of Jersey Royal Potato Salad, garnished with asparagus, soft boiled quail’s eggs and asparagus and eucalyptus velouté. The main course was another masterpiece in presentation and tasted as good as it looked. The crackling on the rare breed Carnoustie Pork Belly was crunchy and tasty, the pinwheel of Stornaway Black Pudding was a treat for the eyes and the palate, and again the accompanying vegetables and sauce were superb. The dessert was another colourful and well balanced dish. A thin walnut biscotti was topped with strawberries which were covered by chartreuse and Scots Pine foam under which was a white chocolate and citrus ganache. The entire meal was absolutely outstanding. It was cooked to perfection, and the service was excellent. It was clear that the staff care passionately about food and about accommodating guest with allergies. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant too highly.
