I stopped in here the other day for a double espresso and the first two sips of it very nice indeed. Then I took a bite of the chocolate that they served with it.It was a mint chocolate.I had a glass of water and so began furiously swishing it around my mouth, trying to get the mint taste out. It mostly worked.Having a chocolate mint crisp after a cup of coffee is nice. Having one after the first two sips really sucks. It completely overpowers and ruins the taste of the coffee.It would have only taken two seconds for my server to mention that the chocolate was a chocolate mint and that would have made all the difference.Or just serve a dark chocolate instead with the coffees. Minus the mint. Food for thought.

Absolute little gem of a place. 2nd visit, after just discovering Hinterland.The latte has to be one of the best I’ve had. My son had the pastrami panini, and the fillings and flavours were amazing.The young girl who’s served me twice, is so helpful, friendly and cheery.It is so welcoming and chilled. Brilliant little place and worthy of 5*

Pop in here often and always enjoy the food. The staff are always polite and friendly. Sweet and savoury have always been good and they often mix it up with interesting things to try. We usually sit inside but there are plenty of outdoor seats too.

Thought we'd try this, having read the positive reviews. It did not disappoint. We shared a tasty panini then had coffee and cakes. They were delicious and moist, especially the mango and the coffee cake. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We hope to visit again.

Halloumi salad was not wonderful and overpriced. The halloumi was over cooked and leathery. Friend's bagel with smoked salmon was tasty.

Looking for a good place for a decent lunch and found Hinterland. The coffee is amazing as are all the freshly made sandwiches we had. Can't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely be back for the homemade cakes which look stunning. Very reasonably priced too!
