We are regular visits to this lovely cafe. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere welcoming and the coffee is awesome. The food menu has lots of excellent choices, including homemade soup, wraps and salads. The cakes are hard to resist!

They say that good things come in small packages. This place just adds to the saying. Its not big, it's not pretentious - it just serves you nice food that you want to eat. And the staff are happy to help! We popped in for lunch, it was good, I'd go back next time in Perth. Do I need to say more?

It was so good we had breakfast here 2 days running. Really good porridge on day 1 and scrummy scrambled eggs and amazing bacon on toast day 2. And the coffee was also great

A great stop for breakfast in perth - slightly hidden by the current building works round the city hall. We had coffee, haggis on a roll and museli when we were here and were not dissappointed. Quick and friendly service together with good menu and product knowledge. Great quality ingredients and great coffee. With a selection of indoor and outdoor seating this is a small place but with mighty good food.

This cafe is welcoming and cosy, wrap yourself up in the Inchyra Blue decor and warm wooden furniture and enjoy all the delicious home bakes on offer at the counter. Very good coffee. Delicious scones. Beautifully presented sandwiches with proper bread, and a good choice of wholemeal/gluten free. None of your supermarket sliced rubbish to be seen here! Really good selection of healthy salads available, which was a delight and a welcome change from a sandwich, (although they are very good here!). Leek and potato soup was made just the way a good Scottish soup should be. As good as my granny’s. Friendly and efficient service. Take small change for tips. Can’t be added to the card machine. Very tasteful choice of mellow and uplifting music too. Having come from Edinburgh, this is a cafe Perthshire people can be proud of. :)

Nice, vibrant cafe, friendly staff, superb coffee (best I’ve had in Scotland so far) and delicious brunch. I had the avocado on toast with feta and tomatoes and my husband had the bacon roll. Both were generous portions and delicious.

Really nice, cozy cafe. Hard to believe a simple vegetable soup could be so delicious but it was just about perfect. Lovely lunch for a cold rainy day.
It was a lovely, easy lunch. Very friendly and quick and can confirm they make a great flat white. Not overly generous with the crisp portion and the sandwich combination (chicken and avocado) wasn't incredible (a lot of lemon mayonnaise, I had to take some out) but overall a nice experience.

Excellent independent Coffee Shop / Cafe in center of Perth. Both the food and coffee were perfect. Good home cooked food all served by friendly helpful staff. If your nearby give it a look you won't be disappointed.

My first visit, but certainly not going to be my last now that I have discovered this little gem! Plenty of choice, wonderfully presented and very tasty. Staff were very welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a lovely experience.

Prompted to write this review as we love this little cafe. Located with a nice view of StJohns we found the outside seating and COVID awareness very reassuring. We also like that the door is propped open and that a notice courteously asks customers to leave it openThe staff really make this cafe without exception, and there is a good selection of snack food nicely served and of good quality. I asked the lovely girl who served us about their green tea and suggested that they should sell it as it really is lovely. The owner came over to our table and offered to order us up some. How great is that for service.? Well done Hinterland.
