Just enough in a portion, great choice. If going to this place, take cash as they are not keen on you paying with card.

Not anywhere near as good as it used to be. Greasy is an understatement. Won’t be back anytime soon.

So we bought two pizza margherita, 3 portions of fish and chips with tartar sauce x3The fish and chips was extremely oily. The disappointing thing was the pizza was not fresh it is not made at the moment. They use frozen pizza

Need to decide if they take payment by cards or not, there is a permanent cash only sign, yet I was told it was a WiFi problem on that particular day?? Also I have paid by card on previous occasions even though the sign was there. Unable to phone an order in as they don't take phone orders and the information on Google has the wrong number anyway. They really are not competing with any opposition. I think they have also changed the oil they are using as the last couple of times I was there I was left with a bad taste and greasy coating in my mouth.

Chip Shop tour of Dundee and surrounding areas has led us to Errol Fish Bar.Nice, friendly member if staff behind the counter.I ordered the single fish, mushy peas and a portion of homemade tartar sauce. They boyf got a single steak pie and 5 fritters to share. The pie tasted "pretty good like" the boyf says he was satisfied. The meat was nice a soft, no gristly bits and the pastry was good.I got 1.5 bits of fish for a single and it was really tasty. The fish was lovely and flakes and the batter crispy. The mushy peas were proper mushy peas and the homemade tartrate was really tasty. The fritters were nice and firm. Not like some where they just go floppy.So...single fish, single steak pie, 5 x fritters, portion of mushy peas and a portion of homemade tartar sauce came to about £15. Good value for money. Would definitely come here again for tea.
