The food was lovely but the wait time was a bit too long we arrived at 6.30pm and didn’t leave till 8.45pm due to wait times we only ordered a main and a desert for a table of 3 and with it being a 1/4 full restaurant it seemed a bit slow. We ordered our deserts and that took 35 minutes to arrive an apple crumble and brownie !!

Everything we wanted from the menu and more was not available at 6pm on a Wednesday night, service slow, server very abrupt and had a bad attitude, all 4 of my party agreed and she came over very rude at points, some food had to go back as soggy popodums, although 2 of us ordered drinks long before the other 2 of our party arrived we had to wait until they arrived before we got our drinks, problem with the vouchers some of the group paid and no house red wine to go with the curry night meal, was offered white which not everyonr drinks, my friend was nearly £30 for a curry and 2 glasses of wine and a potion of chips. She asked if curry came with chips and was told yes, was not told it was extra, the place was freezing and alot of folk sitting with their jackets on, we have not been to Harbour springs for years as it went downhill and we're told it had got better, I wish to disagree as apart from the company everything else was way below standard, when the surver asked what they could do better as we had complained when she asked I had said have the basics on the menu...she was clearly very perplexed and looked very annoyed,if you don't want to hear the truth dont ask the question,no mac and cheese, no mixed grill, no hunters chicken, etc etc, when we ordered mac and cheese she snapped she had told us when we came in there was none left! but she had NOT nor the other 2 of our party when they arrived. Its not the servers fault food has run out but if you a friendly and sincere it goes along way rather than how we were spoken to, its rediculous to have ran out of so much by Wednesday and whoever does the ordering needs to make sure there is enough especially when vouchers have been sent out to customers so obviously it will be busier. We won't be back which is a shame as it used to be a lovely place and meal and we like to support local businesses.

Where do I start . You can see the staff are really trying there hardest but it’s shocking and either not managed properly or under staffed .I went in for a meal and it was so slow . Eventually my food came which was ok . I asked for mayonnaise and I was given an empty bottle . I sat for 45 mins with an empty plate waiting for dessert but give up in the end . What a shame no one even asked me if I wanted a drink . If you run a business this is not how to make money . I eventually walk out with out paying and no one even noticed . Shocking

Went for lunch this Saturday and it was just a treat.Food came quickly and was hot and delicious.Aimee and jasmine our servers went out of their way to make our experience very enjoyable and are certainly a credit to the company.We will definitely be back.

My wife and I went because we had vouchers to use. First time for many, many years. We shouldn't have bothered. Overall the place has no atmosphere. Not the staff's fault, more top management. Booking only via a chatbot, very impersonal. We waited at the entrance for at least 5 minutes, before being greeted. Looked like a shortage of staff. A couple leaving told us that they had been waiting 40 min and still no food, they give up! We were told no mixed grill or fish on. Peterhead and NO fish. Incredible. We sat and waited for a while and then we left. The restaurant setting is good, however something very wrong inside . We left and had an enjoyable meal elsewhere..

Enjoyed an evening meal with partner, hunters chicken, rump steak followed by sticky toffee pudding and banoffie caramel tart, lovely meal, decent size portions, great prices.

The hotel is lovely. Staff are welcoming h and friendly. Room is generous I proportions well equipped with items such as fridge and iron. Rooms well sound proofed and blackout curtains complete the furnishings. One thing, which we did mention to the receptionist on departure, was how hard both the bed and the pillows were. Particularly pillows which were very uncomfortable withno 'give' or softness. But this was our only disappointment during our stayParking: Plenty of room and free
