This would be the last place I'd recommend. The one star is only because without it you can't post review They staff are extremely rude. They wouldn't entertain a question till I put a mask on even though no masks worn by themselves including a driver delivering to them, no signage saying masks required to enter.The atmosphere seemed very drap and uncared for in my brief spell inside.I'm not surprised they place had very little custom for the time of day.

A rainy Peterhead we were looking for a café what do we see Murdoch allen one of the great northeast bakers with a café !!!! good service from a nice young lady who smiled even with a mask on I could tell ,we had stovies very tasty I had chunks of beef in mine ,a café used by the locals say it all great atmosphere

Service from one particular staff member could have been better. I had forgotten to bring a mask, so covered my nose and mouth completely with my jacket (which is made of a thick material). As I was looking into the counter to choose my order, I was told rather rudely and abruptly to sit down or leave, as I hadn’t got a mask, despite the fact my nose and mouth were completely covered and I was stood at least 2m away.

Fine food but woeful service. Staff need some training in how to be more efficient at their jobs, e.g. witnessed an employee taking one plate up to get a cake, take it back to me then go down with another plate. Why not do it at the same time?
I went there today and it was terrific. Had the steak pie and chips, and had to indulge in a slice of caramel cake as well. Great service, and great prices! I highly recommend anyone visiting Peterhead to go here!
