Great place to go on a cold winters day.Even open when everywhere is white with snow.Nothing like a coffee and fresh pancake, in pleasant surroundings, on a fast like today. Staff are great.

Great place for a nice coffee and a cakeParking: Not the easiest place to park but there is a large carpark near it. Only problem is that its not disabled or aged friendly

Can take a while to get what you've ordered but I think this is down to staff. Our table wasn't cleaned before we were served. Just seems that it could be coordinated a little betterParking: Few disabled spaces and a car park which is at the top of steep steps down to cafe

Popped in for lunch - hubby had seeded bagel with salmon and Philly, I had hunters chicken wrap - both really tasty with side salad and creamy coleslaw. Coffees with peanut butter/mallow traybake and Canadian slice to finish off - yum! Friendly staff and a great view over the bay. Highly recommended.

First time visiting impressed with the food however the service let it down very slow even so not every busy. Our coffee came quickly but our fancy pieces were another 15 minutes. And was not impressed with them.

Canadian pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup, a great winter warmer, good tasty portion nicely presented and served by friendly staff. The coffee here is a nice roast and worth checking out, to be enjoyed with a view of the bay, usually something interesting going on whatever the time of year

Hello, I was in having a spot of lunch with my husband when the woman behind the till was very rude and it looked as thought she was on drugs she was dropping money and spilling my coffee, both mine and my husbands sandwich was very badly presented. I didn’t manage to get the woman’s name, she had glasses blonde hair and hair tied up. I won’t be back.

Absolutely spoiled for choice here. Big portions. Food was really nice. Staff friendly. Place is always clean. And the views from here are excellent. It over looks the lido. Always something interesting going on. There is also a play park just down the hill to take the kids after lunch. Highly recommend this place :)

One of my favourite cafés, including all other Symposiums that I've visited. Have now used up 18 free coffee cards... I'd say I finally qualify as a "regular" customer. ? Always cheerful service, delicious food, and an unequaled view out over the sea. ????
