Sat outside on beautiful afternoon. Well separated from the street. Very nice. Picnic tables were a bit uncomfortable but the setting was great. Service was very good, very attentive. I had the chicken burger, and my wife had fish and chips. Both were good. Very reasonably priced given the location. Chicken always a bit on the dark side, but still tender inside. Definitely be back here, recommend for sure. Picture is of the town view outside restaurant.

One meal good the other just okay. I wouldn’t hurry back. Why is food served on paper? It just makes eating awkward. The salad was covered in dressing. You think I would have learned by now to ask for dressing on the side! The difficulty there is hiding the 3 day old lettuce I guess!

Popped in for dinner around 5pm,11/8/25..lovely food for both of us..recommend chicken balmoral..and sticky toffie pudding..excellent lager too..and served by 2/3 lovely ladies..well worth going in!

Great pub, in pitlochry ??????? servicing food drinks and the atmosphere in bar is always busy but staff are helping customers to seats and they are so friendly. Also lovely beer garden..? enjoy.

I’m literally writing this review as I’m sitting here waiting for the check - absolutely delicious. We’ve stayed in Pitlochry for a few nights, and this by far away has the best food. Highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous meal. A venison special with a lovely crisp beer, and their chocolate ganache, with a lovely port. Already dreaming of eating it again..! I hadn't booked, and was able to get a seat by chance (Strongly suggest booking though not sure it's strictly needed). Will absolutely come back and reccomend.

We visit Pitlochry at least once a year on my trip home to Scotland and I’m gutted now that I’d never tried here before ! So pleased that we found this lovely place after walking out of another place along the road due to rude staff. It was a beautiful warm sunny day so we used the garden, The girls that served us were fantastic and the food was great. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Pitlochry.
