This Mediterranean restaurant was a fortunate find on a lovely warm evening. Great setting, very good selection of food and excellent service. Our group all enjoyed themselves, with no complaints about the food. It was even better when the pipe band marched past!

Tried haggis meals and tattles for the first time has loved it. The best tiramisu we’ve had in a long time. Gorgeous building inside and out. Great service. Highly recommended

Fab tasty lunch. Was fine with the dog -got us some water. Food was great and we felt like being abroad so their slogan pitlochry answer to Mediterranean was true. Great service. Very relaxing lunch and delicious Irish and French coffee

Fantastic place for a bite to eat, service was spot on and attention to detail was amazing for a highly strung tourist town. No matter a quick bite or a full 3 courser, you'll no go wrong. Slainte

Food and service were excellent. Gets a little crowded at dinner, we went early and it was fine.

We visited Fern Cottage for dinner and ordered the Traditional Fish & Chips. The chips were a highlight, nicely fried, golden, and crispy. However, I found the fish a little over-fried, with too much batter compared to the actual fish inside. The portion also looked bigger in presentation than it actually was once cut into.

For dessert, we tried the lemon posset and sticky toffee pudding. Both were pleasant and enjoyable, but nothing particularly memorable.

Overall, a cosy spot for a post-adventure dinner, but the fish could do with a lighter touch on the batter.

Very cute restaurant with a robust menu including a separate vegan menu. Everyone was very friendly and they even squeezed us in without a reservation. Recommend you do make a reservation because it filled up quickly.
