We visited today with our 3 children, the staff were friendly and took time to listen to the kids and brought them pens and games.The food was brilliant, lovely little cafe.

My partner and I visited on a lovely sunny May day. The cafe was quiet but we were greeted as we walked in. We ordered a soup and toastie between us. The soup was tasty although we should have asked for two spoons. And the toastie was served with an option of chips or salad. We chose the salad which was nice and had coleslaw with it. Portion sizes were good for the price. Only slight downside was the toilet was not as fragrant as it could have been (obviously not always controllable) and had a few bits and bobs lying around. Other than that the cafe was good and we would visit again if in the area. Thanks.

Went in with my daughter on Saturday, yesterday, and really enjoyed my time there. Ordered a cappuccino and a water and two toasties. Despite a slight misunderstanding between the counter staff and kitchen that led to someone else getting one of our toasties and us getting theirs I couldn’t recommend the place more. The cappuccino was one of the best I’ve ever had and seeing a second small communication error between the counter staff and kitchen led to a few laughs, and a very decent lunch for one member of staff.Will definitely be back!

Went today. Ordered a sausage on a roll, chips, burger and chips, kids nuggets and chips and kids sausage and chips. Burger was so thin and cut in half, no salad or sauce. Chips weren’t great either. Missing portion of chips too! Was definitely not worth £20
Service a bit medium. Very filling medium breakfast (inc haggis and black pudding).

We waited in the queue while the staff chatted to each other. Then a guy came in behind us, the staff member behind the counter served him first and stopped work to sit at a table and chat to him. There was a big menu of delicious sounding smoothies so we ordered some but the staff member just shrugged and said they weren't doing smoothies cos they had no apple juice. There's a supermarket across the road, you could have bought some apple juice there. Atrocious service. We went across to the supermarket, bought some smoothies and were served promptly and professionally. Avoid!
