Food and service were ok, however our dining-in experience was spoiled by a VERY loud speaking female customer bantering with the staff in their language, so loud that we could not even hear each others' conversations! as there was absolutely no regard for other diners! ? ALSO we are now very concerned that we were totally overcharged at this franchise inside the Rutherglen shopping centre, as we had the EXACT SAME order in another nearby location which cost half of the price that we got "totally ripped off" in Rutherglen! ? We will definitely NOT be darkening the door of this establishment ever again for both these reasons. This cost of living crisis affects everyone so everyone is trying to be careful with their wages, but this was actually day light robbery to be charged so much when other franchises ARE being really fair. 0/10 for decency ? and 0/10 for their total greed! ?

Guy took my order & rather than listening to what else I asked for he toasted my baguette with just chicken tikka on it & went on to serve someone else, also noticed the other guy cut open a bag of cheese & put it into the tub also cheese got into the tuna tub, plastic wrap in the tub of red sauce, I absolutely won't be back here service was absolutely shocking & lack of hygiene & cross contamination was evident..

I had a terrible experience in Rutherglen Subway today with my 2 children. The boy behind the counter was very rude when I asked for wheat/seeded bread and gluten free bread with my kids packs (which we get at our local Subways). Instead of just saying 'I'm sorry we don't do it in here' he became very cheeky and stroppy tossing the breads to the side and walking up and down. He raised his voice a few times and it was very embarrassing and distressing to both myself and my 2 children. He also kept forgetting what my order was and shouting at me about it like 'You just said you didn't want a kids pack anymore, so you've decided you want a kids pack again?' Just a very nasty tone from the beginning. If we weren't desperate, we would have gone elsewhere but I ordered the kids 6 inch subs instead. I was then faced with 3 gluten free subs when I only originally ordered 2 gf and one wheat/seeded. When I said this the boy then huffed and moved onto another customer. We definately won't be back as that was the cheekiest person I've ever known to work in a food place. It was empty when we arrived too, not like it could be related to being overrun. I was honestly in shock with the way he spoke to me and my poor kids were all worked up too. They said they don't want a subway ever again - not even from our usual one ?

Ordered 2 footlong subs via just eat from Subway Rutherglen. Collected the order and once opened back home we realised they mixed up the orders and both subs were incorrect. Called them and was asked to bring them back. Wrapped them back up and went back. The curly haired boy then proceeded to open then up and started to pick out the incorrect items. Stopped him and asked for 2 new correctly made subs. He refused. We asked to speak to the manager, he laughed and said he was the manager. We asked for a refund and he refused. He then proceeded to double down and started being incredibly rude. Asking if there was something wrong with us, swearing at us and just providing the worst customer service I have ever received. Honestly the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. No food and no refund provided.
