Location was amazing, £15 for I pint and a gin and lemonade was disgusting, £22 for a burger was disgusting, I don't mind paying for things but paying over the odds for something is just robbery. £217 for 2 nights with no breakfast cost enough. I don't need to be paying over the odds for drinks and food, but they prices are disgusting. Also ordered flowers for my partner at £30 and got a small supermarket bunch in a vase in the room that we couldn't take away. To finish it off we didn't need to checkout until 11am but had cleaners in the room next to ours at 08.45am cleaning, which sounded like a building site with staff shouting up and down the corridor.

We stayed in a lochview room, and it was an amazing view to look out to in the morning. The weather was fantastic as well, which made the weekend so special. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.?

The last time we stayed we were in the narnia room where you had to go through a wardrobe to get to the toilet also had to boil kettle on the floor . Very dated and in need or tlc . Food wasn’t great and overpriced on leaving Susan played the sympathy card about lack of staff and rooms needing upgraded. Stupidly we have it another chance. This time we were in a back room with a poster as a view old knackered furniture and stained carpet . We had already decided not to eat here , on leaving we had the same sympathy card being played when we said we weren’t happy she said thanks for letting me know !! Both times we paid full price . We will not be back . Very disappointed .

This hotel is in a truly beautiful location and most of the rooms have wonderful views over the Loch. Other than this there are no real positives. The entire hotel is incredibly tired and in need of refurbishment. You are met with the smell of dog immediately upon entering and it is obvious that no one bothers with cleaning. Our room which cost 140 quid a night was of hostel quality. Stained old carpet and worn and knackered furniture. The bathroom is original 1980's and is very dated and it takes over 10 minutes for warm water to come out the taps. For the price this hotel is a con and I cannot fathom the many positive reviews. Leads me only to believe that most are fake. I make no comment in relation to the food as we did not eat here.

We had an amazing stay at the chalet. The view from the window was beautiful. It’s located by the loch so great for water sports lovers. You can order delicious breakfast there and if you want dinners are available too. The chalet was very clean. The service was great. We felt really welcomed. Planning to visit the place very soon again.

The hotel has got excellent location, close to the mountains and lots of hike routes nearby. Food in the restaurant is amazing and reasonably priced. Staff if is very friendly and create very nice atmosphere in the hotel. The only weaknesses is that the hotel is little bit tired with some TLC needed. But that is common problem with 90% of British hotels, especially in the Scottish Highlands.

It's a run-down, DOG hotel, steer clear if your party doesn't have a dog, and you don't mind paying over the odds! We might have well, have booked ourselves into a dog kennel! It could do with a million pound (plus) re-vamp, and getting rid of the dug smell! Good, view from the room....

(Translated by Google) We stayed for 4 days in the hotel and used the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Thoroughly recommended, especially the Chef's Signature menu. In my opinion I would eliminate Italian dishes from the menu.(Original)Abbiamo soggiornato per 4 giorni nell'hotel e abbiamo usufruito del ristorante sia a colazione che a cena. Assolutamente consigliato, soprattutto il Signature menu della Chef. A parer mio eliminerei dal menù i piatti italiani.

Yes this hotel needs a touch of TLC but its heart is warm and welcoming. Incredible location and view! Food was great, staff were friendly and very helpful. Be aware the drive to the lodges is VERY steep and not suitable for all cars but you can leave your car in the car park. Would we return…yes!

The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, views beautiful and Susan and the other staff are friendly and helpful. The chef Chris is working hard to develop new dishes and produces food of a very good quality. We had a really relaxing stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.

What can we say !! On arriving at the hotel we were quite shocked at how shabby and run down it appeared, although the restaurant area is ok, the res t of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired as it is very scruffy and dated. We stayed in the Narnia room, which was appalling, the bathroom was reached through the wardrobe!! The paint was peeling on the coving and there was awful yellow lining paper on the walls. The tea and coffee facilities could not be used as there is no wall socket nearby. In order to boil the kettle it had to be placed on the floor, which surely is against health and safety regulations. When we asked to change to another room we were told that there wasn't another room available, even though there appeared to be hardly any guests and we booked months in advance. On our departure we challenged the Owner regarding the state of the room and she admitted that the room was in need of refurbishment but still charged us full price It appears that she has been making excuses for the state of the room for some time. The food was overpriced and average. We ordered tagliatelle but the pasta was penne .Seems the chef doesnt know the difference. The waiteress, who had recently been cleaning the rooms was serving food without a change of clothes. Thank goodness we only had to endure the place for one night !!

Well equipped room with mini fridge, dolce gusto coffee machine and four poster bed. Generous supply of tea, coffee, coffee pods, hot chocolate and milk. Beautiful view down the Loch from bedroom window. Didn’t have breakfast but did eat in the restaurant the night before and food was excellent so assume breakfast would also be excellent. Menu had continental and cooked options. We were able to park at the hotel on our really early arrival and even checked in before 4. Enjoyed a picnic lunch on the hotel’s private beach just across the road, which has the best views of any part of Loch Earn that we visited. Great selection of drinks in the bar. Would recommend dinner in the restaurant, had beautifully cooked scallops, very generous and delicious sole goujons followed by tasty burger, with excellent homemade chips and very well cooked venison.

Unbelievable service, especially by Sue the owner. Went beyond expectations when we required special assistance. Good speciality beer/lager in the bar. Food, breakfast is very good especially the full cooked breakfast. Rory, our server in the dinng area was very polite and friendly. Dinner exerience, I'm a very fussy eater so there was only 1 option for me on the menu but it was cooked very well and my wife enjoyed her meal too. Room was very spacious, clean and had a 'Narnia' bathroom ( you walked through a wardrobe to the bathroom), loved that feature!! WiFi is abit, hit and miss but its a remote area so can't expect full coverage but full 5g in bar and dining areas. Great views right on the banks of Loch Earn. Will book again for sure.

We stayed for just one night, wish we’d booked for longer as it’s a superb hotel. It’s cosy and welcoming. The staff are lovely, so friendly. The hotel has a very relaxed vibe, it’s not a fancy place, it’s dog friendly and comfortable. The location is amazing, overlooking a stunning loch. The small bar overlooks the loch and is such a nice place to sit and relax. Bedrooms are dated, but spotlessly clean and spacious. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was amazing, really well cooked and presented beautifully. They’ve got a great chef. Overall a brilliant time was had. Thanks Four Seasons.
