Was In for a coffee with my partner, son and Mum.Staff handled a situation with 2 young brothers being chased down by 2 young bullies.I had the boys sit next to us while the staff ushered the bullies out. The boys called their mum to pick them up, while Staff continued to look after the boys until their mum picked them up!Awesome job girls!

The five star on service is for friendliness of staff other than that Costa is so overrated. My usual place for a latte sells it out of a machine for a pound and it is much superior to Costa coffee, unfortunately it was closed this time so against my better judgement I went to this Costa for a latte, my last Costa visit was Stevenston and it was revolting and the Saltcoats one was the same. Cold, flat and undrinkable, at nearly £4 you certainly expect a decent coffee but every Costa I have been to the coffee is disgusting, never again, as I said overrated and overpriced.

I’m on holiday with family members thought we would go to costa for a little brunch ordered our food and drinks everything was fine up until the point members of staff were taking turns holding a child behind the counter where they serve customers this is absolutely disgraceful and a matter of health and safety because the staff after holding the child then began serving people no hand washing or anything the child was running about while members of staff came out with hot drinks and nearly fell over the child won’t be back. Love going here for a catch up with friends love that they alway have new drinks on the go, love their cheese and tomato toastie and the tomato and mozzarella panini too they also do a nice variety of cakes, muffins and biscuits.
Only down side is the gap between the toilet door and frame !!! Keek-a-boo ?
