We had lunch here today (30th Dec.) organised by our camera club and despite there being 27 of us, the food was delivered very efficiently. The food was great just the way we like it.

Very freshly prepared high standard of Indian Cuisine.Good portions for a three course set meal business lunch menu. Can't fault this place.Lovely decor cosy atmosphere relaxing surroundings.Owners have invested and spent money that is clearly evident. Can easily give a lot of the City Indian restaurants more than a run for their money.I had the mixed pakora with chutney dip starter the veg pakora was a 10/10.Chasni chicken curry10/10 pilau rice light& fluffy perfect.10/10.Nan breads garlic & peshwari excellent.Service excellent well timed, between courses attentive without being over the top.In the words of Arnie I, ll be back!!Thanks again from Gordon & Maura DarrochInverkip GreenockKenny & Lorna Hankinson Kilwinning Ayrshire. ?????

Motherland was recommended to us and the reviews are very positive, however, our experience, on the whole, was disappointing. Sag paneer was lovely and the other curries were ok, but nothing special. The pakora and nans were awful. They did not seem fresh at all, pakora a bit rubbery, and nans were tough - fairly Inedible.

Food was lovely, we had ordered a takeaway for collection. I went in to collect an the staff were friendly and the place looked super clean and tidy looking. Keep meaning to book to sit in for a meal.Parking: Sits just down a small street which it normally packed with cars so a hit or a miss with parking, there is a car park just 2 mins round from it but again it can be busy at times too.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access in for wheelchairs with seating nice and spacious for moving around.

Went to try lunch here one random Thursday. Was fairly busy for being a midweek lunch down in Saltcoats. The Service was shockingly slow. Portion sizes are genuinely what you pay for & no extra if you are small to medium sized eater then perfect for you but they’re not huge huge portions whatsoever.Food quality was better than the average but not outstandingly good. Prices were great but I genuinely wouldn’t have mind paying a few pounds extra for better service and a slightly bigger portion.Won’t be in a rush to return, but would recommend if you were in the area.

Gorgeous restaurant which was very clean and well managed. All the staff are very nice and the food is amazing. I've never had a naan that colour before and I was pleasantly surprised ... so good! Loved my chicken tikka and all the other flavours. Easily a 5 star and I definitely recommend ?

Enjoyed a delicious meal at this brilliant Indian.Ambiance lovely - we enjoyed sitting in one of the cosy comfortable booths, plenty of space. Nicely decorated, modern lighting and clean.Portions were enormous, shared a naan, but we'd recommend getting a rice each. Delicious curry and naan, also really enjoyed the desserts.Portion sizes and top quality made the price extremely reasonable. Loads of meat in the curries, perfectly prepared.Service was attentive, friendly and timed perfectly. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again if we were in the area or to recommend. We parked on the street outside (free), but this was limited; there was a sort of carpark round the side, not sure if tgis belonged to the restaurant or not.

I've went here with family multiple times, and this restaurant is fabulous. They make really good Indian food. The guy that runs the restaurant has a good sense of humour as well which is nice. Toilets were clean as well. Me and my family will be back soon.

superbly redesigned inside. truly well done. the atmosphere is A1. What can I say about motherland spice. here you do have the motherland of dining venues. there is never any fault with motherland spice. food is and always has been very consistent and amazing, your taste buds will sing and dance. staff are very attentive. tucked away in saltcoats, glad you decided to lay your exceptional cuisine creating skills here. you should be 5 stars+ in london. thanks for your exceptional standards.Parking: plenty of free parking all over. including a car park beside restaurant.Kid-friendliness: when you have a birthday meal here. you will remember the experience. fantastic.

Food is always top notch and there’s something for everyone!! I normally always get the chicken tempura then I like to go for a jalfrezi and a side of rice, Nan and chips to share. Then followed by ice cream. It’s good value at lunchtime but remember it’s only on from 12-2 pm!!! I’ve came numerous times and have been stung by this. My only complaint is the noise since it’s rather small in size the noise can be a bit overwhelming at times especially when you’re trying to speak.Parking: Can be extremely difficult to find parking as it’s a very busy small street with little to no parking outside, your much better parking in Saltcoats labour club car park and walk across the road (20/30 steps away) plus it’s completely free parking too!
