Myself and my husband stayed at this beautiful hotel for a few days and we found absolutely zero faults!! Provided with a kind warm welcome at front desk by a lady who’s name sadly I can not remember. The Golf course is stunning and provided a joyous activity for myself and my husband to simply walk around. Will definitely be trying it out during our next stay! We found so many beautiful rooms to look around, and the bar next to the entrance is stunning. The restaurant did not disappoint, the food was delicious and the tables are set beautifully. We were greeted by a young lad (James/Jamie i think I recall) who provided us with the best service. Will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Scotland as would not want to settle for anything else!

This is a fabulous country house hotel. We were on a road trip and stayed only one night but what a start to our holiday to Scotland. We are not golfers so did not use this facility but the food was excellent and rooms comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

Went to BBQ night, it was really good, good selection off meats& salads, enjoyed ourselves. Staff made a fuss off my dog, very friendly! Been a few times to cairns restaurant, always been good food, good staff! Coming again next month with some friends!!

Travelling with dogs, the pictures of the wonderful estate convinced this was worth the effort. It is true, there are hundreds of acres, alas, the vast majority is made of of two golf courses, indeed right up to around 20 m of the hotel. Bit disappointed that dog walking choices would be limited. £50 Extra for the dog deep clean charge which is pricey, but the status of the Hotel and room rates would reflect its country house location. After arrival, a wedding party were in the hotel, so it was busy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. My accomodation was not in the main building, but in a section reserved for dogs around 200m of a walk, then flight of stairs. Not great when walking more than 50m gives me great pains in my knee joints. Outstanding room size, outstanding bathroom with free standing bath and shower area seperate. Great comfortable bed. Breakfast , that is hot breakfast cost extra which I paid, was disappointing. Fairly average produce. But nice touch of Scottish butter paper wrapped in wee pats. Nice touch. This hotel must be a great location as a wedding reception venue, and very popular with golf parties. A French group said that their stay was OK, not exceptional but pleasant. I would mirror this comment. .

Lovely hotel in a perfect location for golf and visits to historic buildings.Room was very comfortable and food was excellent. Staff were attentive and helpful. Had an enjoyable stay. Only downside it is a long journey from the south of England.

This property is truly a special place if you seek luxurious accommodation in a secluded, beautiful country estate with breathtaking views, yet minutes from central Perth, near Scone Palace and convenient to points North. This beautiful, inviting house is exceptionally maintained and offers a complete range of amenities, a spa, golf course and driving range. The bed and bedding are among the finest I've experienced. The staff are first class and make one feel at home. There are two restaurants, one international class gourmet cuisine and the other a casual setting offering steaks, burgers, and lighter fare. I was only able to stay one night and enjoyed a delicious dinner of grilled hake, potatoes, a portobello mushroom and grilled tomato, accompanied by a nice glass of Italian Rose. There's a wonderfully comfortable lounge/bar and quiet library for reading and relaxing. My only regret is that I wasn't able to enjoy the experience longer!

Beautiful country hotel in beautiful surroundings, excellent golf courses in great condition. Wide Choice of food at a reasonable price. We've being going here for 20 years and see improvement every time. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere whilst still receiving 4* service

Very pleasant hotel in a lovely country setting. Our room was spotlessly clean & comfortable, overlooking the gardens, & very quiet for a good nights sleep. We had our meals in Eolas fine dining restaurant. ( be aware of expensive menu with added service charges) Breakfast buffet is good with extra choices available.

We visit Scotland frequently. We stayed three nights here. Murrayshall consists of very nice natural surroundings and a stunning main building. However, it stops here. Poorly trained and inattentive staff. Asked multiple times about filling empty soaps (met with indifference). When mentioning that Wi-Fi did not work, was defensive and said they couldn't change room - despite a change not being requested. Apparently "some animal" had chewed their fibre optic cable. :-D The cleaning service "forgot" to make up our room, but in a panic came just before 5pm to do it. When asked why it wasn't done earlier such as before 3pm like normal hotels, the response was that they were busy and will go home if not done immediately. Terrible breakfast experience. Clearly they are understaffed. Forgotten breakfast orders, empty juice jugs, empty buffet trays, dirty tables. Simple lack of staff interest to attend to customer requests. Sort out your customer service. Really felt ripped off on the whole experience.

Unfortunately not the best!! We had 3 different sandwiches, Egg Mayo, Tuna mayo & some kind of processed meat with tomato. The bread was Stale & cheap. The fillings were sparse. The Scones were inedible, Stale & hard. We called the waiter over & he was very apologetic after we asked him to feel the hard scones & stale bread, which he agreed were stale & hard. He offered to get us some fresh sandwiches, but we declined this offer, as our lovely afternoon tea with my sister from Spain was already on a downward slope. We have had better afternoon teas in another hotel in Dunkeld, which is good. The waiter was understanding & dealt with the problems professionally. We will not be back.

We already know it here. We booked a nice suite in advance. Same suite as before. Check-in is now going without any problems this time. The suite smells musty and like dog. Immediately everything opened up. Air becomes less, but still lingers every day. Dinner in the restaurant: starter - OK. Not comparable however to that in Burt's hotel, Melrose. Generous bread (and butter) in advance. Main course: that's a shame. Photo of salad taken as main course. This really isn't a salad. They are stewed vegetables - amount of an appetizer. Main course disgenoot: 2 tiny pieces of lamb of less than 40 grams, 1 baby potatoes, 1 piece broccoli. You also have to pay an extra £8 for that! You're still leaving the table with great appetite! We make a comment about this when they ask if the main course was OK. So we say no, with clear arguments. Then they offer if we want another main course! The pinnacle. There are no prices with the dishes. With half of the dishes (front and main) you have to pay extra. It does say that a two-course menu is 38 pounds. Our package includes 32 pounds. So always pay extra. Strange. And every bill comes with a 10% charge! Service is mainly foreign. 2 Nepalese, one Spanish and one Scotsman. Cutting costs for food and service - that's not how you make it in the end? Constantly changing personnel is possibly the cause of poor management, bad atmosphere or poor payment. Every year we see a new group of foreigners who are just starting out, have yet to learn, but are not yet worthy of ministry duties. It seems that the customer is not central, but the revenue model is. That really doesn't save you as a hotel.

Outstanding hotel with great service. We booked last minute as our other accommodation wasn't suitable. The hotel is very dog friendly allowing dogs in the cairns restaurant and gave us a little doggie bag on arrival. We had one of the lodges outside the hotel (as we had a dog) which was lovely. Large superking bed that was very comfortable, big bathroom with bath and shower and seating area with a sofabed (that was used for our daughter). The room was clean and very comfortable, just lacking a fridge. The staff were amazing and very accommodating, from getting us milk late at night to giving the dog treats they were very attentive. Special thanks to Isabel, Danny, Jason and Elodi who looked after us so well. The hotel is situated on a golf course where you are able to walk your dog, wildlife is everywhere and we saw deer and rabbits every time we were out. Highly recommended and would definitely book again.

The grounds were lovely and great views of the countryside. The staff was exceptional and provided superb service. My room was a suite and it was very big. I would definitely stay here again. I recommend this property to everyone, unless you have small children.

If you desire accommodations, service and staff that are unparalleled in quality, Muraryshall is the place. The variety of leisure pursuits, the relaxing Ishga spa treatments and food/beverage options make it necessary to return to experience them all. Great for couples, families or a special celebraton, we loved it and look forward to returning.
