We visited on Monday afternoon Costa in Next ( 19/2/24) and happened that my son spilled his drink all over himself and lovely Costa employee (I think her name was Susie) went above and beyond to help me clean him. please give this lady a rise and she showed exceptional customer service skills. The staff are very friendly and approachable. They have a good selection of coffee teas and loads of cakes. When we arrived, there was plenty of seating. The tables were all clear. The surroundings are pleasant. There was lots of free parking outside the coffee shop. There are toilets, male and female and baby changing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would go there again.Parking: AccessibleWheelchair accessibility: She’s had to get wheelchairs in and out of this establishment

Bruntsfield branch is closing down soon, and you can sense it. No WiFi, dishwasher broken, staff looked rattled (poor girl was dealing with a woman complaining about points on her loyalty card, I mean come on, anyone could see the staff were just struggling through their shifts) The hot chocolate I had was fine, Costa is pretty consistent in quality of hot drinks

I was in Straiton retail park and decided to use the click and collect service via my app. I ordered a good 30 mins ahead to allow us time to look in Lidl next door. A few mins before my order was due I entered the shop and inquired about where to collect my order, they looked at my phone and I was told they hadn't yet received my order and told to wait in the designated area. After 10 mins I approached the barista serving the coffees if my order had been received I was told "no maybe it hadn't cleared with my bank" I assured him the money had been taken and once again showed him the order and the receipt. I was told to close the app and reopen it and the order was now showing as completed despite still not receiving anything. I was told he couldn't make my drinks as they hadn't received the order and their till would be down and they wouldn't receive the money. I was told to contact customer services and he would clarify they hadn't received the order. So I began the process of contacting customer services only to find it was email contact only. So after a very frustrating 25 mins waiting and not getting anywhere, I left £10.30 out of pocket, and with no coffees. To be perfectly honest, it ruined my entire day. I found the staff to be incredibly unhelpful and rude to me and was appalled by how I was treated — and I am now out of pocket for goods I never received. Unfortunately I can't give this review a negative score and I begrudge a one star review

The young lady working at there every Saturday or Sunday charged me more money like a normal price for a breakfast deal. I went second time and she charged me more money again. So the second time I had to asked her and she spoke to her colleague and rectified the mistake. Very rude staff.

Today I nipped into Costa coffee inside next at straiton retail park, bought myself a cold drink and asked if it was ok to breastfeed my baby. Much to my disappointment, the last serving told me it would be more comfortable for everyone if I used the baby changing facility which turned out to be just that with no feeding space ☹️ very disappointed I had to leave and find somewhere else to feed my hungry 3 month old!

Beautiful little spot in a quant little town. Nice coffee, tasty paninis and a really nice and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend. There are also cakes and snacks to choose from. With inside and outside tables and seating
