A fantastic wee hotel with only 8 rooms. Great wee bar with some lovely French house wines. The owners, Helena and Chris are kind and helpful and they have a lovely Golden Retriever called Edie. Great views from the outdoor seating to the rear and a sun trap on nice days. French cuisine in the beautifully decorated restaurant. Great breakfasts too. Good value for money.

If you want a hotel in the back of beyond that’s only open Thursday to Monday (sometimes), doesn’t serve booze or snacks at lunchtime, and has an evening restaurant window of two hours, the Kilfinan is the place for you…….enjoy…?

Stayed overnight to visit the MacEwan cairn. The owners were super friendly. Bed was a bit firm for my taste but large and the bathroom was very clean. I would recommend staying here.

Excellent hosts and accommodation - you could not want for more It is quite a rural very dog friendly retreat but with easy access to Tighnabruich, Portavadie, Tarbert, Bute ( Rothesay) and beyond Food excellent and keenly priced, given the location

Amazing food and very comfortable accommodation. A great place to stay if you want to explore the Argyll - and you definitely should!

Situated in a peaceful and quiet location, the hotel oozes charm from it's 300 year old building. That Helena, Chris and Edie (the dog!) have taken this and are adding their personal touch to it is highly appreciated. We needed a few nights of R&R and stumbled upon the hotel through the byways of the Internet. It was the most wonderful and happiest of accidents and we'll certainly be back. We can't recommend the hotel highly enough.

We had a very relaxing stay in this charming and historic Inn. The rooms are comfy with luxurious baths. Excellent WiFi. It is both child and dog friendly. The food is tasty and delicious. Best Coffee in the entire country. The Pub at the Inn is authentic and the drinks are very tasty. The owners (Helena and Chris) are friendly. The service is fantastic!

During a drive around we spotted this lovely looking hotel and called in for a drink. The bar is open for a short time, and we timed it just right by chance. We had been down to Portavadie marina and Glenan community woodland for a hot walk. One and fantastic drive through the hills this was a surprise find.Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The Loch Fyne ales very good, and inside of the hotel is charming and old. The little bar was full so we happily sat outside in the sun to take in the views. Would make a great base for exploring the Lochs and coast in this area.

The Kilfinnan Hotel is an absolute recommendation for everyone who is in the area. The hosts are extremely kind and supportive and really do their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very cozy and have all you need. Breakfast, Diner and Drinks are as well absolutely amazing and they use many different local ingredients and products. Moreover the countryside is really calm and beautiful with great options for taking a walk. We really enjoyed our stay, many thanks ??

My fiancé and I have returned from an overnight stay in this delightful hotel. Set in beautiful countryside with complete peace and quiet it really was wonderful. Helena , Chris and their adorable doggy Edie were so welcoming and quickly rectified a slight problem. I will 100% return and could not recommend enough. Thanks!
