Super lodge with all we needed for a great week - large fridge/freezer meant we had plenty precooked meals. Wonderful view directly onto the Loch and loads of easy walks. Recommend a pleasant walk from Kilbride Farm down to Ostel Bay then back to Farm bothy for a light lunch. Do remember to protect against midges, especially when out and about!

Just returned from a lovely week at Carry Farm staying in Heron lodge .Warm comfortable and well equipped accommodation in a tranquil setting close to the shore. The location is ideal for being active and enjoying peace and quiet with stunning views of Bute. We took advantage of the variety of forest and coastal walking which in turn rewarded us with wildlife treats Porpoise seals heron and an otter . Thankyou to Fiona for being such a welcoming host we will be returning!

Best campsite on our trip. Came on bikes & were able to camp down on the shore. Friendly and helpful welcome. Clean toilets & shower. A very peaceful night . Handy village shop just up the road in Kames & another in Tighnabruiach. Would recommend this site to other likeminded campers who prefer views & peace.

We have just spent a wonderful weekend at Carry Farm, staying in the Sandpiper lodge. The lodge boasts breathtaking views across the water and hills beyond. We spent a lot of the weekend sitting on the wooden terrace, with a glass of wine or coffee, relaxing and enjoying the view. The Lodge has been designed to an exceptionally high standard, you can tell a lot of time and thought has been put into the little details and interior design. The artwork by local designers create a lovely calm atmosphere. I loved the open plan feel of the living and dining areas, with the fantastic view seen from all angles. The two big sofas engulfed us at night after a day on the beach. The kitchen is well thought out and fully equipped, the beds are ridiculously comfy with no expense spared on the linen adding to the luxurious feel of the lodge. The lodge has a bath and shower room and is spotlessly clean throughout. Carry farm is unique in that there is something for everyone . It really does feel like a little hub here ( as per older review) There is gorgeous coffee shop, the botany skincare shop, sailing club. The amazing Hayshed gallery selling local designers' pottery, art work, textiles and soft furnishings. Its a great place to get back into nature ( there's also a cute play area for kids) The area has fantastic walks and the kids loved the beach and meeting the resident donkeys, sheep and chickens each day. The owners and staff are great for recommending things to do and are so welcoming. Thank you Carry Farm for your wonderful experience, we can't wait to come back x

Beautiful tranquil stay at Carry Farm Location is amazing with views right across the water. Fantastic shore walks and plenty of outside roaming. The lodges are fantastic, very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely touches in the lodge to give it personal touch. Argyll roasters on site was a real treat too!! The rooms are spacious and beds were so comfy! Lovely outside seating area to enjoy the views from as well as watching all the sheep, donkeys and goats. Look forward to coming back here!
