Every small plate that emerged from the kitchen was a perfect, unique delight! So many good flavors and creative presentation. We loved our dining experience! BYOB, small and cozy.

Food was amazing. They pulled out all the stops to ensure a really good vegan meal for me and veggie meal for my husband. The service was fabulous. A real gem of a find. I would strongly recommend

We have waited quite a while for the opportunity to dine at Lauren and Marie’s lovely place, and the wait and travel was most definitely worth it. Having previously enjoyed the culinary wizardry of Marie’s cooking and Lauren’s warm and welcoming hospitality from their time on the Isle of Mull we knew we would not be disappointed. The Ottolenghi inspired menu made our birthday weekend celebration all the more special. Marie is an exceptionally talented chef with a discerning palette. She is low key and understated but the cooking and dishes coming out of her tiny kitchen were taste bud tingling and tantalisingly delicious. Well done to you both for producing such a high end culinary experience in such a tiny part of Argyll’s secret west coast, and also for your recent award. You are a credit to the Scottish food and hospitality industry. We would happily travel anywhere to dine with you and only wish we could make it again this weekend to sample the second half of your Ottolenghi menu.

It was Yotam Ottolenghi inspired food, which I have neber managed to cook myself. It was absolutely amazing. Desserts were fabulous too. Can't recommend it

Not only does this wee little restaurant provide a sit in service. It also provides a Friday night and Saturday night takeaway service. Each weekend has a different themed menu and this weekend was entitled as an "Ottelenghi Inspired Weekend". Having looked at their online menu I chose the following three dishes. Fennel, feta, pomegranate & barberry salad. Duck breast with Shittake mushrooms and a hazelnut beer butter. Along with Iranian root vegetables with dried lime. From my first mouthful I was absolutely blown away. The complimenting flavours bringing out so many delights, the char on the Duck breast with the pink succulent meat and the delicate taste of the shittake mushrooms shining through the hazelnut beer butter. Absolutely a dream meal. It's no wonder they have won an award for the best country restaurant Scotland! This little place will do nothing to keep Argyll's secret coast a secret! Very highly recommend this restaurant.

You know when you say that your never going to tell anyone about something or somewhere special, we’ll, this is one of those places. In fact I’m guilty of having forgotten to give this review ages ago, when we visited. So, I need to put that right. TIDE & THYME is possibly one of the best restaurants where I/ we’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. The location is a little odd and if you blink you might miss it, outside Tighnabruaich and Kames, but you should make the effort to find this major treasure on Argylls ‘Secret Coast’ We’ve actually been here about 4 times this year (2023) and I apologise for ‘forgetting’ to review. On every occasion the menu was different, and the food was delicious, certainly, Italian and French cuisine and others too. The Chef is exceptional and able to prepare and produce exceptional dishes offering taste and enjoyment. The lady who takes orders and serves the dishes is knowledgeable, efficient and friendly and whilst the restaurant doesn’t have many tables, whenever it’s open, it’s packed. I’ve heard that it won an award as one of the Best Restaurants in Scotland, I’m not surprised, All the very best wishes for continued success to the 2 Ladies who run this GEM Shhh! don’t tell anyone else !!

Not too sure why Google thinks T&T is a hotel but if I could have stayed here, I would have! As others have said, the food is great, service is efficient but there aren’t many tables so you’ve godda book! Also take your own booze, the place is unlicensed. If you can get in, get in !

Had a delicious dinner last night which all the family enjoyed. Great of amount of choice on the menu given its a small restaurant. Best meal of our holiday, way better than Inver and much more reasonable pricing! They also have this colourful postbox outside the restaurant

This restaurant relocated to the old Kames post office. We called in expecting just to have a coffee but the lunch menu was so appetising that we changed our ideas. It is easy to see how they have won an award at the Scottish Restaurant awards 2023. I think this might be the best restaurant in the area - and we tried them all !

We had an amazing meal. There was a great variety of options to suit everyone’s taste; so much so we ended up ordering 5 starters for 4 of us as we couldn’t decide! Every dish was of the highest quality with tasty, local ingredients. The staff were really friendly and we’re working very hard. Our only regret was that we were too full for pudding. It’s BYO which made the cost very reasonable

Sensational nothing else to describe it . Was very fortunate to land a late booking on short notice for my partners birthday . Via social media we managed to chat and arrange for a cake as I was remotley located they even offered to try and pick one up when in dunoon !! As it turned out they actually baked us an Individual cakep and it was immense !! So light moist and tasty. The meal was fantastic . Absolutley fantastic fare . So fresh and the open kitchen let you see the chef hard at work . An absolute master as food was served up piping hot and quickly . Place is small and quirky but don't let looks fool you . It really is top class
