I go here occasionally to treat myself and my boyfriend to a cake.I bought one today as a gift to him of celebrate an achievement in his career as your strawberry tarts are his favourite. When I opened it, it was all broken and in pieces.I tried to make it more presentable for a gift but it wasn’t saveable.Usually I wouldn’t be bothered, but it was so badly damaged it looks like it was broken when being picked up, and then put in the box that way anyway as it couldn’t have happened from me walking down the street back to my work.I wish they had given me a new one instead of putting the broken one in the box.

Our go to place for lunch because the atmosphere and service but mainly because the ice cream is Amazing with so many different and delicious flavours my favourite flavour is Chocolate oh and fresh banana oh and dark chocolate & cherry oh and Seville orange oh and Strawberry oh and raspberry ripple oh and Baileys oh and Vanilla oh and Jaffa cake oh and cherry cheesecake plus many more and always a new flavour coming out often. Get yourself down there you won’t be disappointed

Been here lots of times as my little boy loves ice cream, he’s only two so it’s so important the atmosphere is relaxed so that I don’t worry about his meltdowns when his ice cream is finished or when he has to queue for it ? and the atmosphere is exactly that. All the staff are lovely and the ice cream is awesome and such a good price. Soup and toastie deal is mummy’s favourite along with a great coffee ?

We are so fortunate that Penny Licks is a 10 minute walk from our house, although my waistline is suffering as I have no willpower to only have one scoop instead of two. The staff are all so lovely and we have a laugh over my husband’s obsession with the mint choc chip icecream!When we’ve been on holiday and tried other icecreams we always find ourselves saying “not as good as Penny Licks!”.

Me and my family pop in as often as possible since moving, actively trying to work our way through all the delicious flavours of ice cream and sorbet. The cookie dough is adored by our kiddo and hot breakfast rolls, toasties and panninies always go down a treat as well. Love the dog friendly atmosphere as it is a great pit stop whilst I'm working as well (local dog walker!) The staff are always friendly and keen to cater to the four legged companions as well with doggy biscuits, pup cups and now working on doggy specific ice cream too!!
