Joke of a place...shopped here for years went last nite to get wine an smokes, now im almost 37 and yes i look my age ! Because 2 police officers where stood near the kiosk the small grey curly haired English lady id'd me ! I didn't have id on me cause have NEVER been asked for it in there EVER so she point blank refused to serve me, even the police officers must have thought it was a joke an said that can radio through if she wants to confirm my age...still wouldn't serve me....so i gave my stuff to my 19yr old son whom had id on him an she served him MY STUFF she refused to serve me...and after all that the male officer turned round an said i can confirm she's who she says she is and is 36yrs old....absolute farse like !But if the staff wants to act like that why did she then sell my son knowing the wine was for me, whom she bloody refused...blows the mind so it does !

Terrible experience!DON'T SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT ALCOHOL AND HAVE UNDERAGE CHILDREN WITH YOU!My 20 YEAR old brother went to the store to buy alcohol for our DAD there and my underage sister went with him to buy sweets, at check out my brother SHOWED his ID but was denied because my underage sister was underage!! 1. Alcohol was NOT for her was for her dad! 2. She did NOT TOUCH the alcohol at any ponit while at sotre, so there no reason for them to suspect it was for her. 3. My brother was 20 and had ID 4. The woman was really RUDE to him and to my mum when she went in to try to get it to but was denied because again sister was there.DON'T SHOP HERE GO TO ANOTHER BRAND STORE!

Should get rid of these self service checkouts,Always not scanning a full trolley of food.

Poor choice, empty shelfs and didn't have a lot of what I was looking for.

Compact, easy enough to pick up some essentials. If it were larger, it would have had a café probably.

Marius Valiukas

Lovely place, you can find all the essential groceries

So yet again only 2 people serving in your Tranent store and queues 10-15 deep. What's the point of having 2 manned tills that are never open.Where's the girls support.

Small store with large variety of groceries including alcohol. Wheelchair accessible parking and store entry. Petrol station attached with usually low prices. All in a all a micro Asda. Reccomend.

Well stoked and a good range of products,The one thing that let’s it down is they only seem to use self checkout.
