This is a little gem of a hotel. The staff are aways friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and spotless and the food is brilliant which is why I have stayed on several occasions.

Late one.Noteworthy details: Nea chance of a room when the yanks land in for the Trainspotting.

Lovely place and we are repeat customers. Food really nice, bar area nice, room was great and staff very attentive. The point dropped for service as a few times we were questioned and had to wait while they decided whether we had paid for something or not. We just wanted everything on a tab that we paid for at the end, but really we had no intention of running off without paying. It did seem to be quite a lack of trust though. Maybe they have been stung before, but I would rather have staked my car or house against running off rather than have been chased to question how it was being paid. To be fair, they wanted us to leave a card approval at the desk when we arrived, but couldn't take a debit card for that, only a credit card, and neither of us had one on us. One other thing that was slightly annoying was that the tv's in the place haven't been updated for a number of years and are smaller than ones that most people have in their house. There was a good turnout of people wanting to watch Scotland v England in the rugby and they didn't put the sound on either. Just little things that could have made things better. We will be back, as the place is nice, but reviews are for improvements and these are easy ones to make.

Seems like a nice little hotel but the food was awful! Went in for breakfast with my partner and after waiting around 20 mins for our food I was presented with a badly overcooked fried breakfast that had either been completely deep fried or had been sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hours, not mention the £11 price they charge for the pleasure. Needless to say I sent the breakfast back to kitchen and after talking to two separate waitresses about the issue the manager (who didn't offer any apology) begrudgingly removed the food from our bill. Waitresses are doing a good job but the manager really has to do better.Food & drinks: I recommend you eat elsewhere.

We had lunch there. Lovely food with plenty of selection even in the smaller lunch menu, a la carte menu also available . Service was great and server was very knowledgeable about the menu. Good amount of parking. The bar area is dog friendly and you can eat there too.

Fantastic place to stay with a food drink and rest after work for me.The receptionist is first class!! Amazing person.Breakfast is really good , quality and service are top quality ?Bar staff is friendly and helpful.Dinner is really good quality, stake is fantastic cook and basically enjoy, service is top quality ?Room clean, bathroom clean no any mould etc.I am happy to stay at this hotel and it is the best hotel. From checking in to checking out we had a great experience. We were a party of 8 for lunch, dinner and breakfast. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Especially Jemma our server at dinner. The room was immaculate, the food was amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone.

my husband and i got this as a gift,The deal included dinner,bed and breakfast with a bottle of prosecco on arrival and we were not disappointed.The room was spotless, large and airy,We had a couple of drinks at the bar, staff were very welcoming and efficient,the dinner menu had plenty of choice and the food was delicious, a special thanks to katie who recommended the sticky toffee pudding,we had a lovely time and would recommend this hotel .
