We stopped in for a spot of lunch. We both had soup (2 different kinds) it was delicious, served with lovely tomato Vienna bread. We followed that with tea, coffee and cakes. Everything was lovely, staff were great. I felt it was a little bit expensive, but worth a treat. (Varous veggie options too, which was a treat to find)

Staff are friendly and attentive during our visit….must mention Deklyn, Jackie, Joanne, Steven, Michelle, Lauren, Connie, Nell, Chloe, David and Megan. All are great ambassadors for the shop. A must visit location when in the area. Will be back for sure.

Not sure why there was a need for us to "wait to be seated*. Took a couple of minutes for us to be told we could sit at any of the 'small tables' when there was only one other couple in the cafe at the time with something like 30 empty seats We were then ignored until we had to ask if someone could take our order. Then took an age to get two hot drinks and a cake. Won't be back

The Soup was good….but hardly made up for a 45 min wait for two bows of soup and two sandwiches. The Cajun chicken also tasteless and sandwich quite dry. Not sure I’d rush back…sorry!
