“Great lunch, food was delicious, service impeccable and the atmosphere very enjoyable! We had the curry, Cajun BLT with Cullen skink and pork schnitzel, all was fantastic and portions were more than generous, staff were very lovely and service very quick even though it was a busy day for the restaurant. We'll definitely return!”

“Have stayed here 4 times. We found the bedroom very cold upon arrival but we went down to the bar and sat by the cosy log fire for a couple of hours and had a drink. Staff are all lovely and attentive. We were moved rooms due to the keycard not working when we came back from dinner. Dinner was, as always really delicious. Mattress is coming to end of life in room 103, it's not very comfortable and the springs can be felt. In the morning I discovered that the hairdryer wasn't working but a replacement was promptly brought to me. Breakfast was okay, if anyone really wishes my feedback on my experience then get in touch and I will give honest feedback. Would we stay again... I want to say yes but to be honest, I'm not too sure.Food & drinks: We have dined here before and I really enjoy the food at dinner. Breakfast not so much but this may be down to personal preference.”
