Was disappointed as last time we went was very good, but had to wait sometime for food don't usually mind waiting but it wasn't very busy. When you walk in you don't know whether to wait or sit down because no one says hello just take a seat. Toilets needed a clean too.

The Bothy is a gorgeous cafe decorated with musical instruments..pictures.. historical books about Skene.The cappuccino is the best I have tasted anywhere! As for my bacon and egg roll..it came out one half onto of the other and a spike through it. The finger roll was soft and the bacon was thick cooked to perfection with crispy edge.... and as a previous chicken owner I knew the eggs were totally free-range ?The staff were so lovely..friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have.And the wee dog Muffin is such a cutieA wonderful new coffee shop for me x

Great place for a cup of coffee with outside seating on sunny days. A clean place with very friendly and cheerful workers.
It's always lovely to be back here after a long saturday ride.Today, the staff included regulars Steve and Jill; bolstered by Sharon and Phil. The latter bringing their own fun mature attitude to the bothy, looking forward to seeing them here more often.Today, I had cappuccino with an extra shot, plus my favourite pancakes with cranberry sauce, camembert, and bacon. The only change I would make would be to have larger diameter pancakes and less height.What's your favourite combination?Highly recommended for good food service and local intrigue.Cycle parking available.Always a pleasure to return here.Parking: Cycle parking, at the door

I never usually leave reviews however was left very disappointed with what was meant to be a nice day out with family. Waited over an hour for 3 ‘specials lentil’ soup and 2 toasted sandwiches.. I watched you unfreezing the soup from individual pots in a pan adding lots of excess water, which left very little taste and when given the feedback was not offered an apology or gesture in return. Possibly a bad day but unfortunately won’t be returning.

Love this place! Very busy as popular with locals so might have to wait a bit for coffee but always manage to get a seat. Coffee and food well worth the short wait. Staff so lovely and courteous- nothing too much trouble. Today we had pancakes, with fresh fruit , delicious and wee ones also entertained with colouring books and pens.

Great place for breakfast, lunch, coffee and ice cream. Being vegan we love the options we have especially the oat porridge and vegan sausage rolls. Our Grandkids love the pancakes and the bubble gum ice cream! Really friendly staff too. ?
