“Fruit loaf really really guid!
Wheelchair accessibility: Doorbell at the front to request side gate access to the ramp I think might be broken - usually requires someone able bodied to pop up the front steps to let staff know”

“Went today for afternoon tea with my Mum and teenage sons. We arrived a little late due to crazy traffic. Not a problem. Our food was set out and looked absolutely gorgeous! A generous selection of sandwiches, wraps, scones with cream and jam and cakes. We had tea, hot chocolate and a latte between us. All were fab. My teapot was topped up when I needed it. The staff are all lovely and routinely checked in to see we had everything we needed. The cafe itself is quirky and comfortable. The food served around us looked first class too. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.”

“Stopped off while charging my car next door outside Matalan. Service was quick and friendly, decent coffee and a breakfast roll with good quality bacon. A much better option than the Greggs in the retail park ?
Parking: Lots of spaces in the retail park next door.”

“I think this is now the Village Bakery. Had a hot filled roll which was great. The cakes and other stuff looked great. The chip menu looks fab. But at 7 30 in the morning it was a little early.”

“This was actually a "late lunch", but we discovered the "All-day breakfast". Superb. Two for £10.00 that gave each of us a fried egg; to slices of square sausage; two rashers of bacon; a grilled half-tomato; a large mushroom; and two potato-scones/farls. Served separately was a full round of thick-slice toast with Lurpak butter. The price also included a hot drink. Mmmmmm!!! However, even a meal like that would have been enjoyed less if served by surly staff members. No problem here. Ainslie and Isabel (in alphabetical order) were two stars. Everything was done with a smile, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Even when I asked for some water to wash down some medication, I was provided with a large tumblerful - and a smile. I hope that someone in management reads this, and compliments these two young girls on their excellent customer relation skills. Thank you both. I hope that we shall see you again. One little piece of advice: don't put the butter in the container with the toast! The heat from the toast makes the butter very soft! :- )”
