Came in for lunch today, chunky crispy chicken burger with fries. Better with a breaded slice of chicken, rather than mini filets, I know they are cheaper, but not that

Today at Wishaw Malt my wife and I were very unhappy with our meal. My wife got her usual meal when we go to other Wetherspoon. It was a small fish and chips garden peas is what she normally has. But this time the small fish was more batter and bones than fish. I would normally send it back but it was not our normal Wetherspoon. I should have taken a photo of it.

The fish was overcooked that much it just broke into pieces, so greasy, before the staff brought me over an extra portion of chips I paid for the large fish and I was given 7 chips with it ? my son ordered the same and had a good portion not good hardly any mushy pees. I asked for been with my sons fish and they gave him gardens pees you wonder if they can read the slip that is given to the kitchen when it’s ordered online team leaders attitude was stinkin at first she also did not care what I was given from the kitchen. Fish and pees were not warm. I think the establishment needs to pay for a chef that knows what they are doing. At least they got our juices correct.

Typical spoons fare, you know what your getting and what your not. If your happy with that then you won't be disappointed, we weren't.

There for breakfast. Staff were friendly and the service was quick.Wheelchair accessibility: They have full wheelchair access

As with any Wetherspoons the food is usually a bargain for what you pay for. On a busy night service can be a bit slower but that is to be expected. Could be classed as a locals pub based on most people from the area drinking here as they know they will get reasonably priced food and drink. Tends to be quieter on week days unless it’s a special date. I’ve been several times and still enjoy going. Last time I visited was Halloween and it was packed with people trying to avoid kids trick or treating. Would also recommend ordering drinks and food via the app to make life easier if you can.Vegetarian options: Typical Wetherspoons menu so same as other Wetherspoons.Dietary restrictions: App allows you to filter for specific dietary requirements. Can also ask staff members at the bar when ordering.Parking: Parking is on the street outside so is limited as it is a busy road. You can park in the Health Centre car park behind the Mecca bingo and walk through the lane if desperate for parking or the little free car park just up from it. Not the type of street I would park on.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but they do get kicked out after a certain time.Wheelchair accessibility: Once in there is a ramp up to the main bar. There is a lower seating area with 3 steps at both access points but there is wheelchair accessible tables.
